Wendy’s Lexington…must do better and didn’t even earn the one star I had to give to leave this comment! Today at 4:30 pm I pulled up to the drive thru, after approx 30 sec. or so 2 more cars pulled up behind me. I continue to wait and even said “hello, I’m ready to order” numerous times. Not once did anyone ever respond and/or ask to take my order. After maybe 4-5 min and several more cars pulled in, I drove up to the window. Two employees, who refused to acknowledge me, one of which was on her phone, were just chatting with each other with not one customer in site. I then knocked on the window, a male employee whom was not in my line of sight, came to the window. I asked him if anyone was planning to take my order and he said no, not in the drive thru, we are taking orders inside. I then asked him why there was no sign or why no one said anything when I drove up to order and his response was “I ain’t got time for that, I’m short on employees”. Well, not one employee, that I could see was doing anything productive (on cell phone and chatting with other employees) The only customers in the dining room(already served) had left and there was not another customer in site except the 7 cars now in line behind me. Wendy’s it takes less than 3 minutes to make and post a sign on your outdoor kiosk saying “dine orders only”!!...
Read moreUnbelievable. My worst fast food experience this year. I literally waited in the drive thru at this Wendy's for 25 minutes tonight. I know what you're thinking, "why would anyone wait 25 minutes in the drive thru?". Let me explain, I had just left a funeral and wanted a quick bite to eat. Usually, Wendy's = higher quality fast food. I was the 4th car in line and it took 10 minutes to get to the intercom. I little extreme, but a hot single with cheese and those fries were worth it. The guy comes over the intercom and says, "I'll be with you in a couple of minutes". I probably should have taken that cue and driven off like the 4 people behind me did. But at this point, I'm invested. 10 more minutes go by before he returns to the intercom." Between placing the order, pulling around and paying for it 5 more minutes passed. The guy at the window did apologize for my extraordinarily long wait. And I realize that I could have driven off at any point. But here's the kicker....I got down the road a few blocks, reach into my bag for those delicious Wendy's fries....and they were cold. Complete and utter failure. And he didn't give me a reciept to call the 1800 number and complain....
Read moreDefinitely the WORST Wendy's we have ever been to. I don't even know where to start. The staff was incredibly rude...acted like it was an imposition to take our order. When the manager told one of the employees to clean the front of the restaurant, she argued loudly that it was "not her job", and he made her do it anyway. She then proceeded to slam chairs against the tables, bang on the tabletops with a hairbrush (no idea why she was carrying a hairbrush around), and then she used a spray bottle of some kind of cleaner and sprayed it all over everything....including the tables right next to us while we were trying to eat. The women's restroom was filthy to the point that I decided not to use it once I went in there.....all of the trashcans were overflowing and the table we sat at had a sticky film, and two dirty napkins on it. (Unbelievably, it was the cleanest table we could find!) When we were leaving, two of the employees began yelling back and forth to each other. At no time did any of the employees say "Welcome", Thank you" or anything remotely friendly or helpful. We will never go...
