Mrs.Turbo's Bakery - Powell — Restaurant in Liberty Township

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I never write reviews, but wanted to put this out there so no one else had to endure what I endured.

Owner is an absolute nightmare. I ordered a custom cookie cake with Happy Birthday {Name} on it and it looked like a 3rd grader wrote it. When I asked politely if she could fix it or re-do it she rolled her eyes said something under her breath and then grabbed it from me.

When she came back it looked marginally better but still not at all what I was expecting, nor what I paid for. I asked for a discount, and she essentially told me to get out. This whole ordeal took around 30 minutes when it should have been a quick pick up.

NEVER have I experienced such abysmal customer service like this that made me feel invalidated in my opinions.

Save your money and go...

We were in town for a little stay-cation. I called about 20 minutes before arriving to see if they could do a gluten free cookie cake last minute that said Happy Birthday - to my surprise they had time but only had the gf brownie cookie-style cake. The owner (I presume) was sweet and accommodating. I didn’t think through my plan well, just wanted to surprise my husband. They had candles to purchase, we sat in and lit candles, sang happy birthday. The owner provided a knife, paper plates and napkins and I am be so grateful for it all. The brownie was delicious. We also got multiple cookies gf and non gf and a chocolate covered gf brownie. Everything exceeded my expectations (and they are high, I am a foodie, lover of sweets but follow a gf diet) the gf brownie was the best I’ve ever...

I’ve been enjoying Mrs. Turbos cookies for the last year. Their assortment of gluten free treats is amazing and always available.

Most recently, they’ve undergone new ownership that added some tasty looking treats to the menu. I don’t know if they are as gluten friendly focused as the previous owner. The reason I cannot give five stars is because of the attitudes of the new staff and owners. I’ve been in twice since the ownership has changed. This last time, we had a question about the new drinks that were added to the menu and the response was very short and abrasive. It’s not the service I’m so used to receiving since discovering the bakery.
