I recently had the pleasure of dining at Las Arepas de Julia, and I must say the experience was absolutely delightful. The food, without a doubt, tasted just perfect. From the very first bite, it transported me back to the heart of Colombia.
The arepas at this establishment are a true masterpiece. They were not only freshly made but also carried that authentic flavor and texture that instantly reminded me of the bustling streets of Bogotá. The combination of flavors in the various dishes I tried was a testament to the culinary expertise of Las Arepas de Julia.

Read moreI have always recommended this place over any other Colombian restaurant (las delicias, casa vieja etc..), bc of the price , the food and service but THAT' NOT THE CASE ANYMORE. It could be a one off but we are not returning. 1st they raised their prices and they don't show their new price on the menu. Our french fries were cold and stealth and they were taken back and heat up on the microwave and presented as new fries. In addition, underneath my sister's arepa was a piece of uncooked meat (either from the last plate or carelessness). The chicharron was dried and missing pieces ( we recieved a bogus explanation telling us that chef takes pieces to make sure they are cooked) Also my arepa had a hair within it and I had to take it out of my mouth. Once a showed to the waitress she took it back. The worst part was the waiter, When our waiter came came back he blame the hair on us. no apology, first thing he said was, "not our hair do you want a new one or what? Imagine my face when responded to me like that. I had to explain that I had taken out of my mouth and it was in the cheese. He walked away. I told the waitress that took my plate that I needed a manager, she stated that he had gone home for the day. This is sad, we would drive the extra 10-15 mins, bc we loved it. We would support this place when it was tiny and the food would take longer, but WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreI wasn’t pleased with my experience this time. I have come to this location for the past 2 1/2 years always had amazing experience but this time i waited for 1 hr for my food. I was lied to by the waiter telling me that my plate takes linger than normal to make. When my plate arrived after 1 hr the meat was cold and the potato was cold. They popped the plate in the microwave to make it look hot with smoke coming from the plate but inside the food was comoletely cold. Other people arrived and were served quickly and for some reason my food took longer they brought 2 other plates to the table with the wrong order which we sent back because that wasnt what we ordered. When they were a smaller business they paid more attention and the service was great now that they have grown their service and the food quality is horrible. I wouldn’t return to this location. I left the food completely intact and refused to eat it after being lied to. Waste of my time. The waiter didn’t even apologize for the wait time. I had to request for the manager and they told me there’s no manager. Then i had to ask for a person in charge and they sent me to the owner finally. Dont come to...
