Being born and raised in San Francisco, I have had the privilege of eating pupusas throughout my life. This place was the first one I found that does not serve rice and beans. If you’re Hispanic, you will know how that reflects on the restaurant. The tortilla was so thin that it was about half the girth of a regular pupusa. They skimped on the cheese to the point that the only cheese I tasted was the part that seeped out of the tortilla and got pan fried. Their pupusa was little better than a plain handmade tortilla.

I’m getting it ready” she didn’t ask me for any names or read the order back to me. I assumed I was the only to go order they had because the place was empty.
