Where do I start, first off I understand shrinkflation and I understand rising prices. What I don't understand is getting three extremely tiny the size of my pinky finger quote unquote chicken tenders That only Wade less than a 1.4 Oz total TOTAL! On top of that around a cup maybe a cup and a quarter of cheap pasta that is supposed to be Applebee's amazing dish. This four cheese macaroni did not have one piece of cheese in it it wasn't string it wasn't cheesy it was some noodles with a couple tables spoons of this weird white sauce that was runny and didn't even coat all of the noodles. The breadstick was probably the only thing good about the meal. My wife got the all you can eat shrimp and chicken and riblets we were there for I think around an hour and a half because the waitress would give us so six shrimp at a time they were the size of a quarter and we had to wait around 8 to 10 minutes. Her french fries were not good they were not cooked correctly they were kind of soggy not crispy. Also there was dirty tables in the restaurant and honestly the entire night was just ruined by poor food. We paid about $40 for what should have been a much better experience. Or waitress was nice enough but my wife did not want me to complain. I tried to call and leave a message for a phone call back and it's now been 4 days. It was also upsetting because there was only a few other tables in the entire restaurant that were full maybe 5 to 10% capacity in the restaurant and it was just really not a good experience, Really bummed out. I used to love Applebee's but the last two times now we have been completely let down and neither time has it been fixed. I think I'm all done going to Applebee's.... Almost $100 in food two different times in a row and absolutely terrible...
Read moreMy fiance and I visited this restaurant to get a quick bite to eat in a casual setting. We were seated quickly and our server met us in a fair amount of time. She was very pleasant and relaxed. We ordered the 2 for 25 meal deal and my fiance tried the four cheese mac with honey pepper chicken tenders. When the food arrived, her plate looked unpleasant, with the macaroni sitting in a pool of the honey pepper sauce, which we assumed from the menu would only be on the chicken. After trying a bite of the food, both her and I agreed that the taste was unpleasant due to the amount of sauce on the pasta and the lack of cheese on the macaroni. When asked by the server how the food was, we explained our displeasure with the dish and asked if it would be possible to see a menu to choose a different item to order. She understood and brought us a menu. We decided that we did not want to order anything so we asked if it would be possible to get a refund on the macaroni and she sent her manager over. His demeanor was condescending and he seemed to act as if we had inconvenienced him or done something wrong by asking to speak with him. When we pleasantly explained the problem, he scoffed at us and said "it was written on the menu" before leaving to take it off our ticket. We were very upset and embarrassed by him and so we asked the server for the ticket so we could pay and leave. The manager needs retraining in customer relations. Read moreThe only reason i’m giving 2 stars & not 1 is because our server Charlie was awesome! but my friends & i came yesterday for a goodbye dinner & we all got steak, we all asked for it well done & my friend even said extremely well done no pink whatsoever , well we all get our steak , she goes to eat hers and it’s pink with pink juice coming out , she asks if she can get it cooked a bit more , no problem. i’m eating my food & i see a hair , it’s light colored & curly so i know it wasn’t mine & i told our server about it & they were super understanding & said i could get it taken off the bill , get it remade or eat it if i want , i asked for it to get remade . whatever we all get our food back my friends food is fine ,finally, but my steak was pink & was brought by who i assume is the manager & he apologized for the “foreign object in my food” so i have to ask for it to be cooked again cause i asked for well done. we get our bill & they took $10 off my plate because they couldn’t completely take it due to how expensive it was , no problem because i did eat it , but if it was “so expensive” why wasn’t it made right & with care? It was a funny experience for us because we were in disbelief & it’ll be a story to tell but we all agreed to never come back . Also props to Charlie for being so patient & understanding we loved...
