This is such an amazing place for both families and tabletop/board game fans. Day pass prices are very affordable and selection of games is vast. Staff has been super friendly and great to talk with and the place is kept very clean with a lot of open space and several tables to sit at (including traditional tables with a lowered middle area and adjustable cupholders to regular flat top tables). There is a large variety of games and they are well displayed and includes quick guides to show recommended age range, time of play, and complexity which is greatly appreciated. On the café side, their coffee (with free refills!) is really good and the menu, while not a huge selection, has several different choices of coffees (espressos, lattes, etc.), teas, Italian sodas, fountain sodas, and several food options reasonably priced (equal to or less than most café places by comparison) making it possible to setup a table and play for hours comfortably.
The only major downside I can comment on is really not their fault. Parking is in the downtown Haymarket which means majority of parking is billed. If you're lucky, you can park in neighboring lot that isn't restricted to 2-hours before having to move, or can park a little further in a garage and walk on nicer weather days. Still, it's an additional cost to plan for if planning to visit so keep it in mind. However, that being said, it's in a good location to enjoy the rest of the Haymarket region so it's a double edged sword.
Overall, really delighted to have Mana Games here in Lincoln and know it's going to be a main stop for me, my family, and my friends to have some...

This establishment sets the gold standard that every café and small business should strive to emulate and replicate. A shop that provides multiple resources for its patrons and guests alike, this venue should be lauded for their approach towards providing space, entertainment, and services.
To describe the available collection of board games as a plethora would be a disservice, while describing them as innumerable would be impatient. The sheer diversity of the collection is staggering, and amongst the timeless classics and every significant multiplayer release over the past several decades, one can find a variation of almost anything that they seek on the shelves.
The menu is truly a creative delight, and is something that needs to be experienced in person, as many of the offerings are clever innovations on traditional options. To differentiate amongst my favorite arrangements of glucose and caffeine is a difficult decision, but I can say that an inquisitive nature, a bold appetite, and a sweet tooth will all be rewarded - sometimes with a souvenir, too!
I feel fortunate to have experienced this oasis, as it stands for such a well organized and creative bastion of progress, and their successful model should be supported...

I recommend the Mana Potion drink, from a flavorful energy drink. It is blue and comes in a non labeled bottle, just like a mana potion from video games.
My wife had the tomato basil and grilled cheese. She said this was one of the best Tomato basil soups she has had.
My kids loved the cheese pizza, and the chocolate chip muffins from Rabbit Hole Bakery, that is also a local Haymarket of Lincoln buisness.
They have a huge selection of games, hand crafted items by local artists for sale, and a fun names for food items.
My family had a great afternoon going there. They don't allow outside food or drink, save for their neighboring buisness Ivana Cone, which as it says on the board, they have a sweet spot for.
There are also ways to get other players to join your games with sparkly ducks, and a looking for gamers board.
Check out Mana Games for your family, your gaming group, and for your food and drink needs. It is a local gem in Lincoln's...
