Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Lincoln

Client Appreciation Party at Mountain Mike’s:

Just this past Tuesday, I had the opportunity to hold a client appreciation party at the Mountain Mikes in Lincoln at 820 Sterling Pkwy. This location was easy to find for my clients and the parking was ample and easily accessible.

From the time I started planning the party all the way until my party wrapped, the management and staff of this Mountain Mike's location were very helpful. This location has a banquet room type setup that gives your party a little privacy if needed and the staff was fine with us moving the tables to better accommodate our party needs.

The quality of the pizza was excellent. This location was consistent with other Mountain Mikes locations, the pizzas being hot and fresh, and quickly ready. The Pepperoni pizzas were excellent as were the different vegetarian options. We ordered breadsticks, salad and churro bites as well.

There is a Soda Fountain station available, and my party took advantage of it. There is also cold beer on tap and we enjoyed this as well.

The service for my party was excellent. The crew got the pizza out hot and fast to our party and the front counter was very helpful throughout the process. They offered help in setting up, and they cleaned up after the event, making it an easy conclusion for a busy night.

Received an email for a $25 meal deal with large pepperoni pizza, cheese sticks and a 2 liter. Online order would not accept the coupon because the subtotal was less than $30. With tax, service and delivery fee we are well over $30 but that subtotal is the only thing that matters. I decided to call to make it easy, the person on the phone preceded to tell me I could only order that deal online. Mam, that’s fine but it doesn’t work online that’s why I called remember? So at the 15 minute mark between online and calling of trying to get this dumb non-existent deal, I gave up. Not even a good deal after tip and fees I was still spending $37 if they allowed it 🥲

Decided to not spend an extra $15 to get the $25 deal because that is no longer a deal, and honestly all the dumpster fires around us and we are over complicating pizza? Let’s call it.

Remember the good old days when you used to call the pizza place and you could ask what the best coupons are and they would hook you up with the knowledge. Everything, even pizza coupons are awful now.

SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY

Only 1 employee working on Sunday 9/20/2015. She had 2 families seated and was busy making pizzas in the back. She came out and greet us with a genuine smile and washed her hands before taking our order. She was beyond informative and patient as we tried to decide. We NEVER felt rushed or a bother to her. She set our expectations accordingly and apologized for the 25 minute wait. She made sure we had our glasses and my salad bowl before washing her hands and going off to the back. The salad bar was clean, fresh, had a good selection and was fully stocked. Our buffalo wings came out first and we're deliciously juicy, hot and spicy. The ranch dressing served with it was great. Our pizza was excellent and she brought plates to serve it on. Our Large Mt Everest was piled high with toppings and the crust was soft with a crispy bottom. Every time we saw the gal working, she was smiling and busy. Before heading in the back or coming out from the back, she washed her hands every time, even just coming out to check on us.
