The Perfect Dozen Donut Shop — Restaurant in Lincoln

The donuts are delicious... IF you can get your hands on any. We've made attempts to go on multiple occasions, and are usually pretty disappointed to find that they are either already closed or have next to nothing left in stock hours before their closing time at 11. They really need to make some adjustents to their inventory to maintain happy returning customers. We've found its not even worth the trip if you're not in there within the same hour or two they open. Our experience the last time we were there left a bitter taste in our mouths. We got there around 8:30, to a very limited selection (pretty much down to one of each kind) Waited a while to be helped, then once we started being helped, before we could even give them our first selections, another employee started an order for the person behind us simultaneously and that person chose the last available donuts we had planned on getting. At one point while ordering, I pointed in the direction of a certian kind and the second person said "no that's my donut!" It was awkward. First come first serve seems like a fair concept to me considering there was next to nothing left but that's not a policy they seem to have...

I may or may not have a donut addiction and this place may be the reason! These donuts are freaking amazing. My friends and family joke that a Raised Glazed from this place can make everything better for me and they aren’t kidding 😎. Throw in an occasional crumb cake, glazed buttermilk or custard filled chocolate round and I call that a good weekend 🍩

And total side note, the fact that a person gave this place one star because they can’t get there early enough is some bull pucky! You know what they say about piss poor...

Donuts are great. But the way they have people pick up pre-orders needs to change. Someone picked up the wrong pre-order which left staff scrambling and no one to serve customers that didn't have a preorder. Having preorders distributed by a staff member might help so customers who can't read don't pick up the wrong order. So I left very disappointed as it wasn't going to be resolved in a timely manner. OK I'm cranky because I really wanted a treat this morning but seriously the distribution needs to...
