I will start this out with we will definitely be back! There was definitely some chaos happening and I'm not sure if that's normal or just a off night. Either way we will come back. I'm not sure if some people called in but they seemed short staffed. Every single employee that was there was absolutely running constantly! The waitresses were the host/waitress/busboy/entertainment I'm not sure if that is normal but they definitely worked so darn hard but had such a good attitude. they were kind and funny. they made the experience unforgettable! that alone is what will have us come back. ok so we made a reservation online for 715pm for 2 people. when we got there there was 4 ladies waiting plus a large group in the corner. there wasn't anyone taking names so we just kinda waited... it was quite awhile before someone came up to the front to talk to us. I think we got seated around 745? we had to wait for some large groups to leave before they could clean up the tables and seat the big group. then another large group left and they quickly cleaned up that table and broke it down for smaller groups. we got seated and ordered our drinks and food. I ordered the ribeye and fries with the salad bar. husband ordered just the salad bar. we had to wait maybe 15 minutes for the waitress to bring us the plates for the salad bar. salad bar was basically picked over and empty. no bowls or spoons so had to ask for them. soup was kinda thick only a inch or two in the bottom of the pot on the tomato basil. i didnt want to chance the other because im allergic to mushrooms and wasnt sure if it was safe. had to ask for silverware and napkins. my steak and fries came out maybe 5 minutes after we got the silverware. the steak was luke warm at best. very dry and extremely tough. i ordered med rare. i can honestly say the fries thou cold were the best part of the meal. the rolls were great also! now im overlooking the terrible steak soley because it was so much fun watching the waitresses and waiter sing on stage. and their fun personalities! it made everything else no big deal. next time ill try a burger because those looked AMAZING!!! We had a great time and i cant wait to come back! every employee really gave 10000% taking care of the customers and trying to make the best of a wild night. there was nothing they lacked. cant wait...
Read moreCame for the songs, left because of the noise.
When we arrived, the staff member who helped us was unsure if she should even seat us and had to ask her manager. He allowed us in and we waited about ten minutes for our drinks to arrive. It was during these ten minutes that a group of about thirty to forty people arrived and turned the place into their own personal bar. The staff only sang three songs for the hour and a half we were there. Screamers' employees were completely overwhelmed and service was drug out into an absolute halt due to this one party milling about loudly chatting with each other.
I wish the manager had told us they were expecting a reservation that large; we would have gone somewhere else for our anniversary dinner if we had known we'd be treated to an hour and a half of ambient ballroom noises and cold food.
EDIT:
It has come to my attention that the management of Screamers decided to respond to this with a lack of integrity. A) as a current member of the United States Army, I can almost guarantee that those individuals were not military personnel given their lack of personal grooming, older age, and body weight composition. If there were military personnel there, they were out of sight and generally do not identify themselves at diners. I'm not sure why Screamers feels the need say such. B) we had no song sung about us and the manager never spoke to us, let alone took our picture on stage. We weren't even allowed to be seated near the stage, nor would we have been able to easily reach it when there were so many individuals walking about between us and the stage. We couldn't even see the stage at times! C) I don't see how we would have had the opportunity to speak with management since their staff was so busy that nothing was even said when the ticket was dropped off at our table. We had to follow the young man and ask for his attention behind the bar when there was an issue with it. I again have no idea why Screamers chose to respond to us in this manner. Again, if we had only known how busy they were planning to be with that one group on that one night, we would have more than happily come back another time and spent our anniversary elsewhere...
Read moreFirst impressions when we walked in the door; we were excited, it smelled great, the ambiance was cool, and the host was pleasant and welcoming. Our waitress was very nice and took our order in a timely fashion. We ordered the smoking bruschetta and it was great! However, there was not enough bread to go with the amount of bruschetta. We were charged $1 for extra bread, but weren't told it would be an extra charge. My husband ordered the lasagna. It came to the table in a cast iron dish and upon first glance, didn't meet our expectations. It was not a good lasagna and when my husband got to the middle of it, it was ice cold. A waitress passing by noticed we were looking for our waitress so she offered to help. When we told her the lasagna was cold, she said she'd fix it. When a new piece of lasagna was brought to the table, at least it was hot, but again, not great. I ordered the roasted half chicken w/ mashed potatoes and gravy and brussel sprouts. The chicken was juice but the skin was oily and not well seasoned. The mashed potatoes and gravy appeared to be days old, just heated up. The gravy had that gelatinous appearance and the potatoes were stiff and bitter. My son had a burger and daughter had chicken strips and sadly, neither enjoyed their meals. We did thoroughly enjoy the cabaret part of the restaurant. The performers who worked the crowd were by far the best! Very fun and entertaining without being awkward and invading. We might give it another try, but will go for drinks or dessert. It will all depend on the reply to this review. A little advice to the person who replies negatively to reviews they don't like, don't take it personally. Your customer's opinions of their experiences should be appreciated and used as a tool to improve your establishment, not to call out and blame the customer. Had I read your unprofessional replies to negative reviews prior to coming in, I would not have given your establishment a try. Consider saying, "thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations but will use your feedback to better ourselves for the future. I hope you'll give us another try to...
