Read moreDate: April 8. 2025 Better Business Bureau Subject: Complaint Against BM Motor Motorcars Regarding Vehicle Purchase and Failure to Provide Title, Plates, and Properly Functioning Certified Powertrain Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to formally file a complaint against BM Motorcars, located at 1835 W Edgar Rd, Linden NJ 07036 regarding a vehicle I purchased from them on January 18, 2025. The dealer sold me the vehicle with a certified powertrain warranty, specifically covering the engine and transmission. However, I have encountered significant issues that have not been resolved, and I believe I have been treated unfairly. Summary of Issues: Vehicle Defects: Shortly after purchase, the vehicle began showing engine and transmission problems, despite being "certified" by the dealer. These issues directly contradict the assurances made at the time of sale. No Title or Plates Received: As of today, I have not received the legal title or license plates, which the dealer was responsible for providing. It has now been several months, and I am unable to register the vehicle properly or drive it legally. Lack of Response/Resolution: I have made multiple attempts to contact the dealership to address both the vehicle’s mechanical issues and the missing paperwork. My efforts have either gone unanswered or been met with vague promises and no concrete action. Resolution Sought: I am requesting that the BBB assist in obtaining one of the following resolutions from the dealer: Full and proper repair of the engine and transmission, per the certified warranty. OR a full refund of the purchase price. Additionally, I request immediate action to provide the legal title and license plates as required by law.
