The assistant manager (Kelly) has a bad attitude. I ordered a medium toffee nut frozen coffee on the app and picked up from inside. When I saw it was missing the whipped cream (how it comes and is pictured in the app) I asked her if she could add it to the coffee. She looked at the sticker on the cup and said, that's not how it's made. I proceeded to pull up the app and show her and said oh, it shows it like this. She walked over to the register, tapped on the screen (as if to look up that specific coffee) and said it's not pictured that way on my side. I again asked if she could just put it on top (not too difficult of a task, seeing as it IS how its made). She told me she would have to charge me for it if she did. My boyfriend (who was standing there for the whole conversation) said he would pay for it to be on there, and she said she couldn't do it. Why even say that if it's not an option? I have NEVER had an experience like that there OR ANY Dunkin.
I left there and went to Torrington South Main Dunkin (where I always have a good experience and have friendly faces greeting me) I explained to them what happened and they offered to remake it for me, they apologized and told me the assistant managers name from Litchfield, cause I was not aware of it due to the fact she (Kelly) was not wearing a name tag. I insisted they didn't have to remake it, just add the whipped cream, and they did WITHOUT hesitation. I gave them a tip, and thanked them.
Side note~ I used to work at Dunkin. I know how it works and I know when a coffee is missing something or made wrong.
The point here isn't about the whipped cream missing. It's the simple fact that this lady has a horrible attitude and even when shown she's wrong, she wasn't willing to fix the problem.

Read moreI went in the other day and a teenager was not wearing a mask and where he was standing blocked the hall to the bathroom. He was oblivious. When I asked him why he wasn’t wearing a mask he said it was because they are not required and I should look it up. So sweet to help out this old lady. Funny because there are signs all over the store asking patrons to wear masks and socially distance. Maybe he can’t read. It seemed he was hanging out and maybe with a worker there. I asked him to move so that I could get to the rest room and still be 6 feet away from him. He obliged and then was kind enough to inform me that I didn’t need to mention the fact that he was not wearing a mask! I hope he learns how to read and starts acknowledging that The pandemic is real. I will not be going back to the Litchfield location of Dunkin’ since the workers and manager were not enforcing the clearly...
Read moreThis used to be a great DD location. Staff was trained well in customer service in the past, but I've had several extremely negative experiences with staff over recent months.
They've been plain rude the past several times I've visited, so much so that I don't plan to return. Twice in three weeks, they wrongly disputed the cost of an item telling me I was wrong when I was certain of the price. When someone (I presume the manager) confirmed that I was correct the first time, the clerk acted even more rude to me without correction or apology. The second time, I had the same problems - rude, bizarrely accusatory behavior from the clerk when I explained that there was a mistake in price, then no apology.
A clerk acting like I'm at fault when they try to overcharge me not once, but twice?...
