Beautiful setting. Needs to improve on delivery and services and this could be a great place. I ordered the Beijing Beef it shows a red chili on the menu as an item with spice…I expected spice. There was no spice I didn’t even taste pepper it was very sweet tasted like teriyaki. I would think this is not the norm but unsur. Our waiter never came back but a man maybe the manager did tell me you have to ask for spice/spice level. I didn’t know it’s a new place so I think that maybe should have been communicated. So make sure if you want spice communicate it don’t go based on it showing spicy on the menu. I would recommend them to keep the chili sauces on the table and maybe salt and pepper If this had been the case, I wouldn’t mind. But I had eaten most of my food before I could flag someone down since no one checked on us. Also after 20 mins we had to flag someone down for the check since I guess our waiter became the bartender and we were for gotten about (Short staffed it happens but maybe reassign the table.) I try to keep my meals low-carb I asked to replace the rice with steamed vegetables these came cold and unseasoned but surprisingly still ok nice and crisp maybe these should be made closer to serving time so they are not cold. I would recommend they offer more replacement options for rice. My husbands was good he had the main dish from the north menu, he could not remember the name, but I got a picture of it. Very good. Delicious dumplings. They also have an interesting choice of music slow dance 90s so make it...
Read moreI recently dined in at Thai In Town in Little Elm and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. I started with their signature drink called Zabb, which was super spicy definitely not for everyone, but if you like to turn up the heat, it's a fun choice.
For appetizers, I had the Crab Rangoon, which had a lot of cream but lacked any noticeable meat flavor. The Crispy Shrimp Rolls were a bit overcooked but still decent in taste. I really enjoyed the Papaya Salad it was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of tang and crunch.
For the main course, the Sizzling Bangkok Beef stood out with its bold, spicy flavor. I also tried the Larb Gai and Duck Larb; both dishes had a strong Thai herb profile. If you're not into intense, earthy flavors, those might not be the best choice. The Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken was excellent great flavor and just the right level of spice.
For dessert, I went with the Banana Bombay paired with coconut ice cream. It was okay, not too sweet, but nothing memorable.
The ambiance was amazing, with beautiful wall art and paintings that reflect the streets of Thailand. Service was quick and efficient, and I really liked how colorful and well-designed the menu was. it's a vibrant spot with some hits and a few misses, but worth a visit if you're craving Thai...
Read moreWe went here for dinner during the soft opening and the food was fantastic! I judge based off the pad see ew and this was by far the best I’ve had in the DFW area! Hubby had the pineapple duck panang curry and he wanted a straw to finish off the curry it was that good. The Lychee martini was delicious without it being overly sweet, the Thai iced tea was perfect for me as I don’t like it overly sweet and I’m more of a fan of the green Thai tea(please add it to the menu because it’s amazing 🤣) we finished dinner with the mango sticky rice (another dish I rate a Thai restaurant on) and it was delicious on a humid day like today! The coconut milk sauce wasn’t too sweet and the crispy mung beans on top were a nice touch to round out the texture of the sticky rice and mango. We will def be back!
They were busy with a lot of to-go orders as well and our server got sat with like 4-5 tables within 5 minutes of us being sat but I’m stoked to see it packed already !
Only thing I can suggest is more protein/meat in the curry and stir fried noodle dishes just based on current menu prices. I only got about 5-6 pieces of beef in the pad see ew and hubby had about 6 pieces of duck in his curry and had a lot of curry sauce left over...
