This was my first time ordering from Jimmy’s! I’m sitting here eating as I type this! I have always passed by here, and decided to try it out as I was craving a sandwich. Hello the description is in the name! I wanted a serious sandwich!!
My ordering experience: I pulled up in the pick-up area and ordered (I wasn’t sure how this place worked). Online ordering was easy, and I paid online. A nice gentleman came out about a minute after I placed it online to check on me, ask about my order and to double check my name, and to let me know they were already working on it. The time estimate was 20 minutes when I placed it online, I received it in 5minutes. It was brought out to my car. The gentleman was so pleasant and nice!
Now to the food! My first bite of the potato salad I let out an audible “Mmmmmmm!” So good! Like my grandma use to make on a hot day for a BBQ! I then took a bite of my sandwich and it was also very good! Fresh, delicious and just what I ordered! The sauce was great!
I will be coming here from now on when I’m craving a sandwich! Supporting local!
Very much...
Read moreIt was my first time and I will go back again. I was in the neighborhood at an appointment about a mile away, so I walked there. When I arrived there were no customers, but the place was very clean and I love that it is on the avenue and there are windows all around. There is plenty of seating and the customer service was great. The guy who took my order was helpful with suggestions. He made and upsale, offering a drink and dessert. The lady that brought me my order was also friendly.
You order and pay at the register and the drinks are fountain, self-served. They hand you your dessert and drink cup at the register and you choose your seat.
There is a great menu selection. I had Thia-One-On. It was a wrap with spicy Thai chicken with Bok Choy. I also had the twice baked potato, sweet tea and a lemon square.
Everything was good. It was a decent portion size that left me full and satisfied. I may have taken some home if I...
Read moreI've had their food as catering and really liked it so I decided to try their actual restaurant. I realize it was noon on a week day, but I wasn't expecting it to take 25 minutes to get my order of a simple sandwich and pasta salad. The kitchen seemed very slow based on other orders I saw trickling out and other people I saw waiting for to go orders. The staff also was not apologetic for the ridiculously slow service based on an interaction I witnessed with another customer. That being said, the club-mex sandwich on hoagie was delicious (except the order taker did not listen when I said no tomatoes) and the pasta salad was simple with just pasta, peas, and carrots and a light sauce. I don't plan on returning soon based on my experience with the service and their high price. If I'm going to pay almost $10, I would expect the meal to include a drink, not just a medium sized...
