Worst experience I've ever had at any establishment in my life! The worst part about it is that I believe it was all intentional! The way we were treated was so unbelievable and appalling that I had to WARN everyone out there to never go to the Sonic on Broadway!
First we pulled into a stall at 9:30 and when I pushed the order button a young man answered and said drive-thru only very rudely and was laughing uncontrollably!
So we pulled around to the drive-thru and as we're pulling up we see another car in front of us getting mad and just speeding off! So I'm sitting there waiting on someone to answer the speaker and I see the girl sitting in the window just staring at us. She's not answering the intercom and she's just taking her cup and taking a drink and staring right at me so instead of leaving, I decided I was going to wait it out and after about 10 minutes of me sitting there and the line backing up all the way around the whole building she finally answered and said "hello" rudely!
So I told her my order and she would not repeat it to me and didn't get it right so I pulled up to the window and had to write it down and show her because she acted like she couldn't understand English and then she took my debit card and walked off with it and when she came back she didn't give me a receipt and just shut the window! By this time cars were steadily pulling out and leaving and she finally came to the window and handed me my food which even though I wrote the order down and handed it to her, it was still wrong! I mean the cheeseburger only had bread and cheese on it, no meat! The shakes had whipped cream and syrup all on the sides of them and they were only about halfway full and I ordered a wrap that was supposed to have queso, bacon, and ranch on it but it was just a piece of chicken wrapped in a tortilla!
Whenever she handed me my food she never said thank you or that's all your food! She just looked at me like I was crazy and I said "is that all of it?" And she aggressively said "well yeah!"
There was so much more that was disturbing but I'm so disappointed and agitated right now that I don't feel like wasting anymore time on this review because I make these hoping someone in upper management or an owner or something like that would see it and try to correct the mistakes but I'm sure that it's been like this for a while and I'm sure nobody will do anything about it so I'm just wanting everybody that reads reviews to stay as far away from the Sonic on Broadway as possible because it is a joke and you will get taken advantage of and it will probably ruin your night!
If by some miracle someone in upper management does see this and wants to fix the problem, feel free to reach out to me and I would love to give my feedback and tell you the exact time I went through so you can check the cameras and verify everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually donāt do this , but now itās starting to look like Iām going to need to say something about the service. Now I will tell you that itās no secret that Iām into ordering a cup of sweet cream to mix into my drinks at home. When I go to any sonic location I get simple, easy, and respectful customer service for someone to just simply ring me up for sweet cream. I know that itās not on the menu, but most workers will ring me up for a soft serve to make everything make sense and they will simply give me a full cup of fresh sweet cream. Yes itās different but the job gets done at most locations. This broadway location on the other hand seems to have a really big problem with allowing me to just simply try and order sweet cream from them. I will pay whatever non ridiculous price that they would want to charge for it and I try to tell them that I will pay for it, but one day I ordered a cup and pulled to the window. A black woman with orange hair at the time was telling me in a very rude and arrogant manner that āwe donāt sell sweet cream here at this locationā. I was trying to ask her why, but she didnāt exactly try to explain anything to me. I guess she was just upset with something else. So she let me pay for two really tiny cups of sweet cream. It was very watery by the way. I was coming out of church service and this is the treatment I get. I ordered some again another night and itās like I just keep getting really bad treatment for trying to order something so easy. I say please and thank you but it seems that Iām a problem whenever I just simply ask for a cup of sweet cream!! Thatās ok. Broadway location has lost at least ten customers behind me since they canāt seem to get their attitudes in order. Thanks for the other years of me and my family coming by. Broadway Sonic is just going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA couple weeks ago I ordered a strawberry shake with Oreo. Got home and it was just strawberry. No Oreo.
Tonight I ordered a strawberry shake with M&M. Got home and it's plain vanilla. No strawberry, no M&M.
How is it possible to repeatedly fail so hard on a single-item order with only 2 ingredients?
The Broadway Sonic is garbage now. (I used to go all the time when Dewayne ran it a few years back -- the orders were right, I wasn't paying extra for ingredients Sonic was charging me for and not giving me, and the half-price shakes during Summer of Shakes made it worth it.)
Not even going to get into the long wait times, busted screens in multiple stalls, etc.
Will tell everyone to go to Cantrell (or any other location) instead of Broadway.
Suggest other folks with similar complaints contact Sonic's corporate office if they're also getting ripped off and overcharged/shorted toppings repeatedly.
Update: Just ordered a cherry slush with Nerds through that app. Picked it up. No Nerds. As usual, ripped off by the...
