Great facility, great food, great employees! Doggo and I love it here! It is cozy, they always have events and specials going on and my fur baby loves making friends there every visit!
Edit: This place is not as good as it use to be. The menu no longer includes a dog menu. The dog pools are not as big, the big rocks were removed so no climbing options for dogs, just all flat turf. We let it slide because we knew it was going under new ownership and wanted to give benefit of the doubt so we were not too bothered by it. (except for the lack of dog menu) The tipping point though... went this year for Santa photos. It was very unorganized and lack luster compared to last year. There was no professional photographer this year so we had to use our phones to take photos. The main issue with this is there was no staff to help Santa and the stairs are now INSIDE the off leash area. While trying to take photos with Santa, other dogs run upstairs and get in the way of the photos and also distract our dogs while trying to get photos. We gave up trying to get any decent photos after 5 tries so we went down stairs and let our dogs run around. We went to the outside area and there was dog poop everywhere. No one was picking up after their dog, I almost stepped on dog poop. There use to be staff that were good about policing this and also spraying any aggressive dogs, which was also an issue tonight. A guy had to try to get his small dog away from an angry big dog and another guest with her own spray bottle stepped in and helped him by spraying the big dog of someone else and after that situation she ended up leaving with her own dog. The addition of low sitting beach chairs was a poor choice as dogs were pissing all over them. New ownership cut costs in the wrong areas and is hiding any bad review they get on social media and not fixing any of the issues that he created with this place. We definitely noticed the difference tonight when it was not as packed for Santa was it was last year. Unfortunately, we will not be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've been twice with our socially anxious lab mix. Dad was able to watch football and play ball during commercials/half time, Mom was able to have a few drinks and pet ALL the dogs and said lab mix was able to be "social" without the chaos of a dog park. The dogs are able to roam around, play and socialize with each other and the humans. For the most part, Owners watch their dogs to make sure there aren't any shenanigans. The indoor/outdoor areas are well maintained (when the owners can be bothered to clean up after their dogs) and there's plenty of room to run and play ball. There are rocks to climb, tires to run thru and pools for the summer/heaters for the winter. The human food and drinks are a great addition. There's also WiFi available and some misc. "board" games. There is a Bark Ranger on staff to walk around and help keep an eye on things. Seems like she's usually able to nip any hostilities in the bud and keep some of the more Alpha dogs from running...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe absolutely loved our experience at Bark Bar tonight! Staff was very friendly and explained the rules to us. The "bark ranger" learned our dog's name and kept an eye on all the dog activity. After a couple hours our super friendly little guy started to get a bit overly assertive about refusing the play advances of other dogs. The bark ranger brought him to us, and, knowing our dog quite well, we knew he was tired and ready to go home. I was grateful that the bark ranger recognized this behavior and brought it to our attention. We kept our dog in our lap until we'd finished our beers and then took him home to sleep. It was a very positive experience, and I look forward to bringing our guy back again - but only until he reaches his limit and is ready to go home! I applaud this business for taking this risk and vow to be a good steward. I'm so glad to have to this business available! What an incredible addition to...
