Learn moreJust had the most cringeworthy experience I ever had at a Subway. I have been coming here for over a year now and the owner (who works there) knows me well. Initially when I started coming here, the portions were always less (so I stopped coming here for a while although this is the location closest to my home). That is no longer the case now (I guess people complained), but it has always felt like the owner is trying to cut corners to save a few pennies. Today I went to get a wrap to go. The owner himself was checking me out and without asking me, he put the wrap on the green basket (that are used for 'for here' orders). I politely pointed out that it was 'to go'. His response was unbelievable, "you always come here and order for here, but get the plastic bag instead of the basket, so we waste the bag". Seriously? It was hard to believe this kind of unprofessional behavior, but he wasn't joking. I just did that only once before, which was the day before, and it seems like he had noticed that and remembered. The reason I did it is because I had ordered a footlong sandwich and those barely fit in the green basket, but does it even matter? Most locations just use the plastic bag these days for all types of orders anyways. I can understand he is trying to save his expenses as a business owner, but is it worth losing a customer over something that probably costs a penny? Terrible attitude....
Read moreI went to this location with my son on April 17, 2018 and once I was about to pay for our meal I realized a payment hadn't posted to my bank account, so I didn't have the funds to use my debit card and I was $3.60 short in cash. I went to sit at a table to call my bank because I knew the funds should have reached my account. It was after 5pm and I was having a long wait reaching a bank representative. The owner of the store came to our table and told me and my son to enjoy our meals and informed us he had paid the $3.60 to cover the register. I told him I would return the next day with what I owed and gave him my name and number. Today I returned with a thank you card, the money owed and a tip. Read moreSo my fiancé and I came to this store with a buy one footlong get one free coupon. At checkout we were told that the coupon excluded any “new/special” subs. This exclusion is stated nowhere on the coupon upon further inspection. I proceeded to ask her if she knew something I did not, told her that the exclusion is not stated on the coupon, let the cashier read the fine print of the coupon, and then proceeded to ask us if there was anything else we needed. She read the fine print, saw it didn’t have the exclusion, and still didn’t allow us to use it....
