I was a little skeptical about this place at first. But, I've been a number of times now and it's pretty good. The food quality is generally consistent. Eating healthier here is not all that hard. I'm not sure grilled vegetables are on the menu but they make a good side.
The eating area is normally somewhat clean, depending on the time of the day. All of the tables seem to wobble pretty badly in some way. They could use some attention to adjust them a bit.
The service is always pretty good, too. Haven't really run into anyone with a poor attitude, which is unusual in this industry these days.
Only thing really is that the food is kind of pricey. I understand that quality food costs money though, and I get that everything is expensive now. Another thing that's kind of annoying is everywhere I go, everyone wants a tip, including here. You know? So you rang up my food, now you want me to tip you? Really, I could order it myself if they'd give me a tablet/screen to order on. Simply pushing a button shouldn't mean we have to tip you. It's that awkward moment when the cashier rings up your food, then spins the tablet around for you to choose a tip amount. Meanwhile, they're staring at you like "give me money." Even at the drive through, same thing. Enough with the tips.
Otherwise, it's a good place and I'll continue to eat here....
Read moreYesterday I placed an "à la carte" order of Grilled veggies (surprisingly very flavorful), Mediterranean Chicken Salad, & Roasted Red Potatoes. A fellow came up & nicely handed me my order through the drive through window. I didn't know he was the store Manager at the time. I was so hungry I parked in the parking lot across from the Mall with my car windows down, & watched the skyline as I ate. 🥹 The food was so good I felt like I had been transported to a breezy afternoon in Greece ☀️🌬☁️. I drove back around to try to tip the fellow who handed me the food $5 dollars. He said Thank You ☺️, but that as the store Manager he can't accept it. And to just continue to come back 🍽. I also have a Gluten Intolerance, & this place has great options for me! Having the option of grilled food instead of food that's been deep fried & batter dipped in 🌾 wheat flour really makes a difference for me 🥹. Also the pricing was great. I usually would get a large order of red beans & rice with coleslaw at Popeye's Chicken for $9.29. My upgraded, tastier, healthier, more filling 😋, À la carte order from Taziki's only cost me $9.92 🤗🤑. Wow, I...
Read moreThis evening my friend and I ate at Tazikis Mediterranean cafe. We had the hummus with soft pita. I had the lamb gyro and she had the chicken gyro. We both had the tomato and cucumber salad. THIS IS A MUST STOP for your Greek food craving. The authenticity of the food was bar none. The hummus was made with care and attention to detail. It was visually appealing as well as pleasing to the sense. The lamb was simply magnificent. Grilled and moist chunks of lamb mixed with fresh lettuce and taziki sauce was heavenly. The same goes for the chicken gyro. Personally I’m huge on authenticity and Taziki’s delivers on every aspect of it. The open kitchen and atmosphere is inviting from the time you walk into to the time you leave. They also sport a great window view with a dog friendly patio. I really can’t say enough good things about this comfy little spot. Worth every penny and I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe. You won’t be...
