Visited this restaurant for the first time this week. Was joining a large group of friends for dinner before heading down the street for a show. Called ahead to warn them that I would need extra assistance because I was blind and had menus questions. Met one of the managers when I arrived, who seemed very friendly and helpful, and gave me a few options when Iâd aid I was hesitant about knowing what to order, since some of the prices were very high⊠I was particularly interested in the lobster mac and cheese, but it was priced at about $30 for a full entree, and I was told a side was âonly one or two little scoops,â so not much for a meal. When the manager offered to help me on pricing, I eventually decided to give it a try⊠but it took about 45 minutes from the time I arrived just for me to order my food, which seemed a little excessive since I knew what I wanted well before this.
Food ended up being pretty good, thankfully it was served in a dish that wasnât hot (Iâve been brined by hot plates at restraints before, and this was served in an actual skillet), and I did enjoy the taste of it⊠but I did not value it at $30 for just the single portion. My drink was also taken away from me when my food arrived, which was a little irritating, but I never got the chance to ask about it since no one came to check on that for me.
When it was time for us to head out and pay, I had overheard from the other group members that they were limited in splitting the checks⊠and when I asked about this and tried to see if they could make an exception for me, since I only had a card and wasnât sure exactly how much I was going to pay, I was told they would âfigure it out.â However, no one ever returned to tell me my amount, take my payment, or even give me a receipt, and I left not knowing who paid for my food or how it was figured out⊠so now Iâm under the assumption that I have to get $40 cash to someone that doesnât have digital banking options, when I rarely see them or donât have their contact info.
Overall, Iâm not happy with how they handled this situation, since it seemed like I was basically ignored once the rest of my group showed up, even though I explicitly asked for extra help, and did everything to tell them that I was blind and they said they had previous experience with blind patrons before. Iâm also not happy with the high price for the service I paid, since I could have ordered something much more affordable if I knew it was going to be this disorganized⊠and it makes me really upset that my needs werenât being met properly and I was being ushered out of the restraint before I got the chance to ask any questions.
Iâm likely not coming back here, since there are at least a few other places in the area where Iâve had much better experiences, and the value for the money I paid would be much more worth it if I chose to dine elsewhere. This is also a bit far away from me, since I live in Lakewood and am much lower to the Arvada location anyways, but after this experience I likely wonât be trying them anytime soon either for fear of a repeat incident.
Overall thoughts: food is good but overpriced, service seems good but is strongly lacking, and accessibility is NOT very strong at all. Would...
Read moreShowed up and waited 15 mins before we flagged down a bartender to get our drink order. With only 3 tables in the restaurant. The it took another 10 mins for 1 beer. Again 3 tables maybe in the entire restaurant. Finally our ordinal server served the beer, then took our food order. I ordered the el Diablo there was supposed to be avocado and spicy tuna in the roll. Only thing in the roll was regular cream cheese salmon and chopped jalapeño. The roll should be âEl Diablo spicy tuna mix, avocado, habanero cream cheese, atlantic salmon, chopped jalapeño, habanero masago, atomic sauce, spicy aioli, sriracha, eel sauce.â Very disappointing. The service sucked and the food was blah. Our server came over asked everything good and before we could answer was already gone. I would rather drive all the way to the Arvada location than even bother with the Littleton location. The sad thing is there were at least 3 maybe 4 servers along with a manager before anyone even knew we were here after we were seated by the server initially and we had to flag someone down. This location is absolutely awful and I would t recommend it to anyone due to service and food quality. If youâre going to get something for the menu it should entail what the menu says it has. For having 3 tables during a late lunch or early dinner it shouldnât be hard to pay attention to people, let alone make an...
Read moreTL;DR seems like a nice seafood joint in hip downtown Littleton, but serves expensive, cheap, pre-frozen food that is no better than Applebees.
Surprisingly bad. Expensive food and drinks, however youâd find better quality at an Applebees. Was told the wait was about 30 mins, when we asked the hostess about 45 mins later she said âoh I can seat you nowâ. Ordered drinks that were good and apps at the same time. Apps took over 30 mins to come out. Calamari was cold, chewy, with a thick batter. Not fresh and a really small portion/ Lobster tots come with about 6 tots. Oysters were good. We questioned whether or not to order entrees but were pretty hungry so went ahead. Sushi was actually fine, it was good. Shrimp tacos and steak/shrimp were AWFUL. Shrimp in the tacos was old, rice it was served with was disgusting, it had to be from yesterday. Steak was dry, chewy, and flavorless. Even though it was medium rare! One of the worst collective meals weâve had. Also, out waitress never checked on us, however she might have been overwhelmed with the number of tables. Without us asking before we got the check, she took the calamari off because she knew it was not good. Overall, would not recommend and will...
