I will start at the beginning. I have a T-Mobile plan that I pay a total of $200 (approximately) a month for a quality international plan. I also have a Thai cell phone that costs me $9 a month unlimited data and a Cambodian cell phone that costs me $6 monthly with unlimited data. Notice the stark comparison in absolutely inflated costs.
I keep my T-Mobile plan ONLY because I travel for business internationally and need uninterrupted cell, text and data; NONE OF WHICH AS WORKED IN TWO WEEKS while conducting business in Cambodia. Of note, I cannot access some financial accounts from my Thai or Cambodian cell because they recognize a foreign IP address ie Capital One for example and many companies block such foreign access.
Now on to the issue. I messages T-Mobile customer service yesterday and was greeted and after a short discussion āAdrianaā or similar name, called me and was unable to resolve my connectivity problem which consisted of zero bars of service, no LTE, no 4G, 3G, no text, no data. No international service at all costing money with zero service.
She called me and was still unable to resolve-establish service noting her inability to effectively speak English due to outsourcing. I did understand about every fifth word she said.
After some time, she transferred me to technical support who was, again very very limited in English. Of note, I have a USA T-Mobile account. After saying he would have to trouble shoot the problem and call me back on a secondary line, I gave him my Cambodia mobile number which he replied that he was not authorized to call a Cambodia phone number. T-Mobile operates a global service but technical support is not authorized to call me back to troubleshot a problem on my phone? Really? Is that the kind of global service you are operating? After a lengthy discussion which was extremely difficult to understand because of call center outsourcing, he told me to reset my network connections and he would call me back on my USA cell phone in 10 minutes. I did everything he said and it still did not fix the problem. No service and I lost ALL my saved WiFi passwords worldwide.
I messaged back that it did not work and received a message that T-Mobile was closed from 01:00-04:00. Sorry.
I spent several more hours on my own trying to resolve the issue seeing that technical support was of no help. Eventually I figured out that there as an old expired eSIM that was still in listed. Customer support never had me check this option. After deleting that, I was able to restore service myself, all ZERO thanks to T-Mobile staff.

When we went into the store we were greeted and persuaded into a plan, the rep. that assisted us assured us the most our bill would be was 160.00 that was including the cell phones we would be paying monthly and that once the cell phones were paid our bill would go down to around 120. I wish i would have gotten that in writing! When it came time to switch everything over and get the new cell phones we waited for over an hour because they had forgotten about us, we should have left at that point but we patiently waited. The manager did offer us a 15% discount for our wait on an overly price cell phone case which we didn't accept because everything they sell in that store it's a fraction of the cost online. When we got our 1st bill lord behold it was for 280! I called the customer service line and the rep. had lied about or "misinformed us" of the exactly how much this would cost. Apparently once we had paid off the phones our bill 180.00 and would never get any lower. I spoke to a manager and they lowered the bill to 240 still not what I was expecting to pay. However, no matter who I speak to the bill is always fluctuating one month is 240 the other 280 and every time you call its a different excuse and a different story, I don't buy anything online using my cell phone bill, don't call long distance, don't go over data (which is suppose to be unlimited but still don't go over my high speed data) and I review the bill every time diligently. This not a company I would recommend to absolutely anyone, stay clear, !!! UPDATE 2 YRS WITH TMOBILE AND STILL MISERABLE!!! Recently they removed the data from our lines bc our promotion has ended so currently no DATA!!! We didnt even get a notice or heads up we found out when we tried to use our phone's GPS. When we called we couldnt understand what the rep was saying, called multiple times and still cant understand them Does did company have any US employees any more? When we finally go through trying to explain what we needed they tell us that adding the same data we would have would increase our bill. BIG SURPRISED our current bill would not be lowered for not having any data!!! Worst thing is it appears all cell phone carries...

I came back in December 2024 and was met at the door by Leo. Probably the most happiest individual I've ever come in contact with. And that's a good thing. High energy and extremely helpful. Took care of me and then even off. Let me know what offers were available and I took them up on it. I got tablets from him and he even took the time to wrap them for presents.
