Horrible service. Will never return. Manager left a trainee alone at the front counter, so he could converse with another employee in the back room. My family ordered three subs and it took this poor trainee 10 mins to slice the meat. You could tell he was struggling, why was he alone? Cooking took another 5 mins understandably. By the time he got 2 subs to the counter (meat only) we asked about the third. Another employee appeared for 30 seconds to clarify the order, then vanished. After another 5 mins of waiting to complete the first two subs, we are still wondering where the third subs is? At this point we had been in the store for roughly 20 minutes, to make 2 subs?? We didn't appreciate the wait, or the unnecessary miscommunication, possibly due to a loud radio at the time. All we can do is wait again?? To correct the previous mistake, which shouldn't of happened, because I originally had to repeat the order 4 time's. The one employee was obviously struggling, why we he left completely alone? When the misunderstanding was clarified why was it not corrected, by the other employee? the sound of friendly banter echoes from the back room the entire time, we are in the store. The log tedious process of cutting meat starts again and another customer enters the store. We had been alone until this time, with no other customers in sight. Why 20+ minutes to complete an order? That was wrong to begin with? After watching one piece of meat being cut every minute or so. We tossed up our hands in utter frustration and left the store. Then one of the employee's took it upon himself to follow us! Outside the store! When we asked for the manager, (while standing outside the store!) He claimed to be the manager on duty, that the employee who has served us was a trainee and he wouldn't stop arguing with my husband. I pulled out my phone to take a picture of the store number and corporate info, But the employee who claimed to be the manager, insisted on getting the last word in, before we left so I included him too. Read moreLove Jersey Mike’s and have been going to them when I lived in Arizona for a few years, moved back to Michigan and was excited to see there was one not to far from me, in Livonia at Middlebelt and 96 near Menards I called them several times to confirm they were open as it was Black Friday and their website said the hours may differ, they did not answer the phone. So I took a chance and ordered online and hopefully they would be open when I got there. I Ordered 3 subs, one of them was for my elderly mother, the #7 Turkey and Provolone, with banana peppers added and I requested the dressing on the side, I triple checked the order before sending it to make sure it was correct. I picked up my order and when I got home and when my mom opened her sandwich it was sopping wet with dressing (the dressing that was supposed to be on the side) and there were no banana peppers, so my wife called them to tell them they actually answered the phone after her 3rd try, they said to bring the sandwich back and they would remake it at no charge (Dumb thing to say, of course it is no charge, I’m giving you the messed up one back and I paid for it already) When I got there with the sandwich one of the young man behind the counter asked me who did I talk to, was it a man or woman??? What does it matter I have the sandwich, the receipt and the email of my order showing the request for banana peppers and the dressing on the side. After some discussion they remade the sandwich, and as I was watching them to make sure it was done correctly this time I saw them stat to pour the dressing on the sandwich again and had to stop them. Read moreMy dad and I went to Jersey mikes for lunch and had a very distasteful experience in relation to the food but mostly the staff. We ordered our subs with one employee who might I add had an AirPod in her ear while we were ordering. My dad received his hot sub while I was waiting on my cold sub even after people who ordered after us received their cold order before me. While I was waiting, someone else was ordering their order and the employee with the AirPod started being combative with the customer asking her about what subs she wanted in a bowl size. The lady didn’t know what she was talking about because she did not mention anything about a bowl, but because the employee was listening to music while taking the order, she wasn’t listening or paying attention. Then they had the nerve to start laughing about it with a line full of people.
When I asked on an update for my order after waiting 15 mins, the manager got an attitude and then incorrectly made my sub (she was listening to an AirPod too 🙃). When I returned the sub that was made on the improper bread, was dry because it was missing Mayo and the oil/vinegar, and missing the bacon that came on the club supreme, she further had an attitude with me. My dad was the one talking to her and she looked at me and said, ‘I’m sensing some hostility, do we have a problem?’ I stood there and looked at her and then she continued to direct her attitude at me and said she was doing us a favor by remaking the sub she screwed up, ‘free of charge.’ She made a whole scene in the restaurant and it was a very hostile experience.
