Koney Island Inn — Restaurant in Livonia

Where do I start? This experience haunts me. Koney Island with a K isn't exactly my first choice, but I didn't think I'd really mind it. And then the waitress came. She was ominous and made eye contact with me the entire time. All I ordered was fries, and she made eye contact with me and listed off other food items they had, trying to get me to order literally anything else.  Anyway, she introduced herself as Stephanie, and then she left. After about ten minutes, another woman came to give us our food. She was wearing a name tag that said STEPHANIE on it, but no one else was wearing a name tag. Who was this? Where was the real Stephanie? What happened? This dinner was turning into an episode of Avatar: the Last Air Bender. She tried to convince us we should order dessert, and that there is no war in Ba Sing Se. Was she Stephanie, or was she Joo Dee? We ate our food I'm fear. I found a hair in my fries, but I expected that from Koney Island with a K and was not above eating them. My friends hot dog popped in her mouth. She said it was like "when you lose your shrimp virginity and eat shrimp for the first time." The outside was crunchy, and the inside was watery.  My other friends fish peed what we think was grease onto him, he picked it up and it's dead fried fish bladder released onto him. My friends mother had no complaints...

I had the worse experience as far as fast food restaurants go! Took my little girl out to eat and when I went to the resister to pay she also wanted a slice of chocolate cake, that brought my total to $23.80 I got $1.20 back I gave her $30 now you do the math. When I complained I was treated like a common criminal by not only the staff but the manager (PATRICIA) I told her I didn't even have a $5, I only had hundreds, twenty's and a ten. I was told that she'll call me Monday when they count the drawer, this makes absolutely no sense don't you count your drawer at the end of the cashiers shift or at the end of the night at the very latest??? So I had my friend call also on my behalf and she was told to mind her own business and was hung up on. I'll be shocked if she calls me Monday I'll keep you posted! I work for Ford Motor Company and had a wallet full of money because I was on my shopping. Here's the thing I don't even need the $5 it's the principal. The manager was so unprofessional that I will never step foot in that establishment AGAIN, except to get my $5. Not only was the management unprofessional but the food wasn't that great and they cheated me out of $5 to add...

I moved to the Livonia area 6 months ago and was happy to have a Koney Island close to home. We typically call in carryout and pick it up. We have had breakfast and lunch menu items. Everything has been well prepared and priced well for the portions and quality. Food prep has been remarkably fast and you can ask for things cooked to your specification. And they get it right!

Service has been almost consistently professional and friendly. The team is very down home and kind. Everyone can have a rough day every now and then. But I will say 98% of the time I have been acknowledged with a kind tone immediately as I approached the register. However, there are a few times I have walked in to order and waited for my pick up. When I watch the waitresses service their tables, the clients appear happy, it is usually pretty full. The last time, the ladies were helping each other make sure the tables were serviced timely. One young lady was taking a new order when another table's order was up. I watched her team member look over to see how long it would be. She picked up the food and ran it over for her. I was impressed!
