To be completely honest, I don't think that I have ever had a bad experience at a Sonic fast food establishment, and that continues with this location.
Located among a bunch of places to shop and eat, this particular Sonic location is very easy to get in and out of because of where it's at. If you frequent Sonic, then you know that this isn't really a place where you grab your food and then park and eat (unless of course you are using the car hop area). Typically a Sonic parking lot leaves much to be desired as far as the actual use of the parking lot—there just isn't much room over all, and that's fine. Grab your food, and get on with your bad self.
This location also has something that you will not find at every Sonic location—a double drive thru! Which for many of you equates to a drive thru nightmare, but it can be quite useful during peak drive thru times if everyone in line understands multi-lane drive thru etiquette. But that's neither here nor there. If you like this as a feature to a drive thru when you're eating fast food, then this location has it. If that's not your thing, sorry about your luck because this location has it (though it isn't always utilized, especially during slower times).
If it's a peak dining hours (like lunch or dinner time) then you should expect a wait. It's not always the case, but as you probably know this place is popular overall, so just plan to wait in line for a bit.
The staff here is friendly and professional, and their order accuracy is on point. To be completely honest, I don't think I have ever received an incorrect order from any Sonic location. The food is always hot, and always appears to be fresh (as fresh as fast food can be of course).
Sonic isn't the best fast food out there, but it is always a good fast food experience. With their wide range of menu items, you're almost guaranteed to like something that they have to offer. Couple that with always offering a consistent affordable product—then you have a match made in fast food heaven.
I don't always eat at Sonic, but when I do, this is one of the main locations...
Read moreAfter a couple years of not dining here cause every time I tried to go the wait in line was too long. Granted they are conveniently located literally one mile from my house, but Cars just don't move through their drive thru like you would expect... I decided to try ordering from the app, glad I got half off on 2/3 of my ordered items. (Prepaid online)
I ordered the Hawaiian burger, fries, and a vanilla shake. When I got there the app said I could check in or I could pickup inside, "just give my name to the employee." I'd never been inside so I went in. The guy at the counter said I had to park and check in, I showed him my phone, he went to get the manager. He came out with my bag and again saying I have to check in from the car and park in a stall. I showed him the app, with instructions to pickup inside, he goes on about having to "do something they're not supposed to do" to clear my order. Whatever... He looked about 17 years old. I said I'd never been here, wanted to see the inside (which is nothing special BTW) and the app said I could pickup inside. So he says ok and heads back to the kitchen and I had to remind him I had a vanilla shake too. He goes and gets my shake and I head home. 5 minutes later I grab some fries as I get home and they are ice cold. Dumped them on the grass for the birds. Went inside, the burger was made right but the meat was luke warm, and the Hawaiian roll was completely smooshed flat. The only saving grace was the shake.... But to be honest, it's pretty hard to screw up a shake.
Overall, a rather disappointing experience. With the savings it was like getting the fries for free, so no great loss tossing them to the birds. Not in a rush to go back anytime soon.

Read moreI waited nearly an hour for a small slushie. What happened is I ordered on the app. Got into the bay and waited 20 mins, there was a lot of cars so I'm like ok I get it. Then the screen says it's on its way. I wait another 15 mins or so. Then my order disappears from the screen. I see two people standing casually in the drive thru window and no cars in the drive thru, only a couple in the bays. I'm nervous my small drink may have been missed since it was only one and there was a lot of orders. so I try to walk up to the window which I don't normally do but it been about 40 mins at this point. The guy comes out and I calmly try to ask if my order was coming incase it got missed. I was not yelling I wasn't even mad. I didnt have anywhere to be. Instead of oh yah sorry we are just behind, He interrupts me and is nearly screaming at me that they are working on it. I go woah I was not coming at you aggressively. I understand he was probably stressed but even so he interupted me and berated me. I was an assistant manager at a tim hortons for 10 years I totally get it. I wait another 5 mins in my car and a very kind young lady brought me the drink apologized for the wait and I said thank you. I think he should have came and apologized for taking his...
