I specifically went to this location because of reviews stating how friendly and helpful the manager, Scott Robinson, was. I was not disappointed. I hadn't bought a mattress in a long time, and had no idea which mattresses would be comfortable for me. Scott selected some mattresses for me to try, explaining the features of the different types. I was able to eliminate many of them after lying on them. I finally narrowed it down to three, then to two. It took me a long time to decide between those two, as they were equally comfortable. Scott never pushed me toward one or the other, even though one was much more expensive than the other; nor did he act as though he was in a hurry for me to make a decision. I greatly appreciated the time he took to make sure I would find the right mattress for me. I purchased one, and it will be delivered in six days.
I would like to add to my comments. I was not happy when the truck arrived with my mattress and I was told they would not take my old mattress and box spring away. I paid extra to have this done. I showed the receipt to one of the guys, and he called someone who said that if I paid for it, the old items should be taken away. Read moreTerrible experience. Our mattress was delivered on 1/10 the delivery people broke our thermostat, outside light fixture and inside light fixture. We had to beg to get sombody out to fix my thermostat living in cold Michigan they wanted to let me wait 4 days before being contacted. They fixed the thermostat, I was told I would receive a call about my lights and never did. After weeks of trying to get an actual human being to call me I was called on 1/16 and was told that the manager would call me by 11am on 1/17 to address my light issue. It is now 1/21 and I have yet receive such a call. There is no way to speak with a human by phone to address issues, you can chat with a rep but they lie and dont do anything to help. I will be stuck paying for these two light fixtures due to matress forms negligence after paying $2,500+ for a mattress. Disappointing because I opened up a credit card with them and planned on purchasing 2 more mattress for my kids, they will never get my money again I'm going to pay off this card next month and be done with this company. Our shopping experience at Mattress Firm was top notch, Patrick spent a great deal of time with us to ensure we had the perfect mattress to fit our needs. We paid the $150 for the red carpet delivery service provided by Mattress Firm. We received confirmation that our mattress would arrive on Monday between 9:15 and 11:15am. At 11am I received a call that the mattress would not arrive until a time between 4:45 and 6:45pm. I then received a call at 3pm that the mattress would be delivered within the next 30 minutes. Having to spend the entire day waiting for a mattress to be delivered when you are only supposed to allow for a 2 hour time frame is just ridiculous. The delivery men also did not wear the booties when entering my home. I will say they did have on a mask and were polite.
