Where I come from Sonic Drive In and America go together like peanut butter and chocolate. So I was THRILLED when this location opened in Michigan less than 10 miles from my house. Our first trip was fine, for some reason although new several bays were down, but a few worked and the drive through was open. Tonight I placed an online order and upon arrival I was appalled. Only two bays appeared active. No problem I thought I'll just pull through the drive thru. Both lanes of the drive through were closed. The grass around the speakers was at least 3 feet tall and filled with trash. I managed to get into a bay and presses the button and waited. I waited so long I scanned the QR code to complete the corporate survey. About this time out popped a woman with a headset going on about how all systems were down and the only orders being taken were online. I explained I had in fact, orderd online and she got my name and hurried away with an "Oh, shit." Thankfully she did return immediately with my order, but I had requested a drink carrier that was not provided. My teen had no complaints about his food, although his fries looked like oil slicks. My sandwich and drink were good but I suspect a double or even triple fry on my tater tots, or old grease. Sonic is comfort food to me at 1000 miles from home. The appearance of the location and the cook on the tots was disappointing. I will have to drive further out until I find a location that...
Read moreThis will be disappointing...I spend a lot of money in Walmart's/ Wally World's and this one was not pleasant. First time shopping here and I must say it was crowded! Not crowded with people but with merchandise I'm assuming needed to be shelved. The set up of this store is different from the other two closes locations (Livonia, Canton). The flow of the staging of merchandise is weird. One employee was so helpful she assisted me several times (because the layout is different from the other Wally world I usually shop Canton). This young lady assisted me in the pharmacy and beauty/ haircare sections(can't remember her name but she was dark skin with curly big hair).I have never seen so many employees standing around talking and chilling in the aisle, (I thought they were having a meeting until you could hear bits of their conversations). The prices are always low and you can get in and out with the new set of self scan lanes. It sits back off the street but is easy to see from the street. Honestly, it's Wally world people are going to shop their local one because of the cheap prices but I personally would NOT recommend this specific location. If it wasn't for that one employee I would have gave the...
Read moreI like Livonia marketplace the only thing that they're missing for the elderly people that live in the apartment buildings behind Walmarts and have to walk! They need to put in a Dollar General store or Family Dollar store. There are a lot of stores over there that do not get used by any of the elders that live here? Walmart does not supply everything that you would need if you are walking and their shelves are constantly empty no matter what time of day you go in there??? When they built those little strip malls they should have thought about the elderly people that have to walk to the stores not everybody in Livonia has vehicles!!! When they built Walmarts they were not thinking how far another grocery store is for elderly people that are walking?!?! IT is the smallest one that I know of out of all the Walmarts I've been to!!! I noticed this Christmas baking season they never have all of the supplies that I needed for baking my breads and my cookies??! Even though their websites would advertise that they had it in stock to be delivered!?? I even walked over there to see if they had it early in the morning there was nothing!!!...
