When I first noticed that the service had started to decline, I was reluctant to write an honest review. In spite of the impersonal experience, the mistakes in my “regular” drinks and the lack of more affable service (their baristas don’t even make small talk with you while they prepare your drink as it’s their training to do), I wasn’t done with them just yet. Now that I am, I can give an HONEST review. First of all, since each location is individually owned and operated, customers can attribute their experiences to each location’s owner. This location has an franchisee that owns several. Therefore, customer service isn’t that important. He makes his money regardless if one customer is satisfied or not. Still, the degree in which each location honors coupons is dependent on that desire for satisfaction. As an educator, I can’t abide ignorance. This location would rather lose over $6 and the cost of two cups than to just take $1 off of a 32 oz latte. According to the barista, the price listed on the wall for a 32 oz latte is a discount that isn’t identified as such anywhere in writing for the customers to see. (Most establishments don’t double the cost of a drink just because it is twice as big as a smaller size.) The icing on the cake was when she said they save more money by not honoring coupons. Well, duh, coupons are for the benefit of the customer, and to drum up more business. Customers simply need to be more savvy to get that benefit. That being said, I hope that anyone owning a 32oz mug with a buy-one-get-one-free coupon decides to get TWO drinks, complete with the cups. Then you can pour your drinks into the one 32oz mug, thus costing the location the cost of a full beverage AND two cups. Then they can figure how much money they lost and whether good customer service would be more...
Read moreSo...usually when you go to a restaurant and you eat, it's your choice whether you leave a tip or not. The waiters aren't walking around asking if you want to leave a tip, I am sure a tip may be needed, (give one if you can), but these people at Biggby on 7 Mile and Middlebelt, ASK if you want to leave a tip, EVERYTIME and when you say no, there are two girls in particular that get mad. WTH? I have never in my life heard someone ASK for a tip. Clearly they have a plastic tip cup sitting outside the drive thru window, if I want to leave a tip, then I will, if I don't want to leave one, then I won't! Also be considerate of other people, what if folks don't have enough money to leave a tip sometimes...well that is perfectly okay! Don't make someone feel bad for not leaving a tip, you never know what someone is going through. BIGGBY ON 7MILE AND MIDDLEBELT WILL NOT BE GETTING MY SERVICE ANYMORE. I won't even talk about the day we went and they were still supposed to be open and instead of coming to the window to say they were closed or whatever, they just giggled really loud and shut the lights off. RUDE RUDE RUDE YOU ALL...
Read morethe owners of this establishment need to check their drive times at this location and re train. i know they own a few others around here and i get two drinks sometimes even one! and the other locations that are farther then me i go to sometimes makes it fast, ask me how i am. this location you walk in you barely get a high. alicia is the only one that’s ever asked me how i was doing there and i know it’s her because i asked for her name 2 weeks ago. you wait over 5 minutes everytime tho. side conversations in the head set or on the floor and no one speaks to you after you get rung up. there is a trivia board for a reason, to create conversation that’s part of biggby and why it’s liked. whoever was in the drive thru that day waited 7minutes and 40something seconds and they also got two drinks. maybe the morning is better and that’s why they have 4.5 or it’s just from when they were at farmington hills, bring...
