The first problem was that I clearly ordered everything with no tomatoes, but there were tomatoes on everything anyway. Ok. Picked them off. Minor thing. Then the bill came. $25. Ok cool. I gave the waiter my card so he could cash us out. He brought back the original bill and two other papers, one for me and one to sign for them. As I'm getting ready to sign, I notice that my card was charged $28. So I'm confused. Not sure where the extra $3 came from. I flagged down a manager walking by who didn't understand either, so he went to check it out. Turns out the waiter somehow added an order of fries to my bill while he was swiping my card to cash me out. They fixed it for me, and I still tipped the guy, but I was not and am not happy about it. I've worked in the service industry, but never at Olga's, so I'm not sure how their POS systems work or are set up.. But I also don't know how you accidentally add on to my ready to be cashed out, card in hand order, without knowing, especially when the bill is right in your face and there's a different amount charged than what the bill says. I dont know. But the whole thing rubbed me the wrong way and I absolutely will not be back to...
Read moreHaven't eaten at Olga's in years and probably won't be back after this experience. My coworker ordered carry-out for our team; I helped her pick it up. Ordering over the phone was a hassle. Were told it would be ready in 20 minutes; it ended up taking about 35. Cold cans of Pepsi had been placed in the bag with our hot food. They gave us lemonade instead of Sprite; we did catch that mistake before heading back to work with our order. When we got back we realized there were several mistakes. We were missing our Snackers basket. No dressing on/with the side salads. We only got 2 packets of ketchup per person, when we had asked for extra. Fries were barely warm. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because my original Olga wrap was pretty good. When my coworker called for a refund for the missing items, the lady was not very polite. I will say that the mall was very busy that afternoon due to a large book fair or something. Perhaps the restaurant was not adequately staffed for the occasion which may have contributed to the...
Read moreI came in for an Olga sandwich, as it's been over 15 years since I had my last sandwich at Olga's. I ordered the 3 cheese Olga (large). It came with no meat. That's ok, I should have been clearer. I order a side of gyro meat and saved situation. What I can't get past are the stale curly fries. I rarely leave fries on my plate. I left over half of these fries on my plate since they were so un-appetizing. The service was attentive, but I will probably not be back to eat here. Update... I received a response on this review from Olgas corporate. They asked what they could do to salvage my business. I replied to them with my contact info... it's been about 3 weeks with no response. I was going to offer that I go back to get an Olga sandwich with FRESH cooked fries. I would even pay for them. Alas! no fresh Olga fries for me! 😥 In retrospect, their response to my original review was for the sake of public consumption and not as a sincere response...
