So I was there the other day ans had a "wonderful" experience. I placed an order through Grubhub, and when I got it, I realized it was made wrong so I decided to head over to the store. Turns out that was a big mistake. When I walked in, I was immediately confronted by an employee who hollered, "what's the problem? Them sandwiches wrong?" I said "yes..." The employee threw her gloves off, marched over to me, and rudely responded with, "I know everyone who has been here tonight and you haven't been here." The 2nd employee there chimed with, "I don't recognize him either." I attempted to explain that I ordered through Grubhub while being interrupted by the employees multiple times. That "I did not pick up the order as the delivery driver did, but I am bringing my order back because it was not made correctly." She then rudely stated to me that there was no way I could have ordered from that store. So I asked, is this not the Subway located at "19706 Middlebelt?" Which is the address on the receipt. To which she angrily responded with "yes, but I made them sandwiches and there isn't anything wrong with them, when did you order them?" I read the time and the date on the receipt, "June 15th 7:12 PM" she responded with "Thats impossible!" She then demanded to see my receipt said so I said sure, "it says right there June 15th, 7:12 PM." She looked at the receipt then at me and asked, what's wrong them, they look fine to me..." So I opened one sandwich, that was supposed to be "The Boss" but it didn't have Meatballs on it (as menu states it should), nor was it toasted, as I requested. The other sandwich was a Chicken Bacon Ranch, which was also not toasted, the bacon was cold, along with the chicken. She looked at the sandwiches, then looked at the receipt and said, "well do you see how you ordered them? How am I supposed to know what's on them?" To which I said, what do you mean? The first sub says, "Meatball Pepperoni Sub." Then the added ingredients. And she just looked at me. So I said, "listen I don't know what's going on here, but I'm just gonna go through Grubhub and get this refunded, your line of questions is ridiculous, YOU made made this wrong, I am not in the bad guy here for wanting this made right..." She relented and I eventually got my sandwiches remade. But the interrogation I had to go through, was unprofessional, uncalled for and humiliating. So if you're reading this review wondering, if this Subway any good. The answer is no, dear god no. This Subway is so awful. If I have the chance to become the mayor of Livonia, I'd have this place condemned, torn down and the soil that this restaurant sits upon sent into the sun. I hope the owner of this restaurant reads this review and understands that they and their rude staff shouldn't even be trusted to run paper bag. They have failed Subway. They have failed their employees, and they have failed their costumers repeatedly (according to other...
Read moreAvoid this subway at all costs. The location on middle belt, grand river and in walmart are all owned by the same franchisee. None of them accept coupons. They lie about their hours. Multiple times between 8 and 9 pm I have been turned away when their hours posted on their door state they are open till 11 pm and their hours on Google maps confirm the same thing. Google maps says "updated 2 weeks ago" so the hours are correct online but the workers very rudely ignore when you approach the door. Another time when I made it in earlier I asked one of the workers that turned me away within their hours of operation why they lock their door before the posted hours on the sign as well as online and she repeatedly just said "ask management" but when asked how to get ahold of management she just repeated "ask management". Apparently that particular employee is favored by management because when I drove to the other two locations the employees there all knew exactly who the employee was that I complained about at the middle belt location, confirmed that all 3 locations were owned by the same franchise, and confirmed that nobody that worked at any of the locations liked that employee. The situation of being turned away within open hours multiple times happened in April of 2023 and this is now January 2024 and the same employee still works there and we are all still having the same problems with their service. 3 weeks ago a different employee accepted my coupon for any footlong for $6.99 which gave me hope that things have changed. But today I was turned away by the same rude employee from before and told "we don't accept those coupons, we changed the rules" that's what she also said back in April. I would avoid this subway chain at all costs. It's not worth the hassle or the poor...
Read moreOn Wednesday June 12, I ordered 2-12" Subways online. Got them home the topping each were on the wrong sub. I had mayo put on mine but allergic to eggs. Returned to store, it was empty. The guy started to make it properly and the girl (I think she was racist)came out & made him do other things. Waited 20 minutes through all of this and asked about mine. She said don't worry we'll get to it. I had my 1st cancer treatment that day & told her I was feeling ill an needed to eat, she then screamed at me and said she didn't really care that she had her own problems and that I needed to just wait & quit talking at which time she threw my sandwich in the garbage and told me I didn't need to eat and to leave the store. I asked for my money back & she said I wasn't getting nothing. She said call the police & we did. The Livonia police that showed up were a joke. The girl was rather loud and belligerent, on her phone/headphones the whole time. While on the phone with the police they stated that could even hear her. The guy working with her kept a low profile with his head down the whole time.so.....no food, no return of money. Buyer beware. Check your orders before you leave the store because they...
