It's unfortunate to write a negative review especially when the food was good but the unethical behavior is not sitting well with me. For all you active MILITARY and VETERANS BEWARE!!! I would recommend take out but not dine in. I visited the location yesterday around 6:30pm. Entering the diner was pleasant we were greeted by the waitress Dawn and she seemed to be the only wait staff available she was nice and inviting. We placed our order and when it came out mine was incorrect she immediately spoke to the cook and he made my additional item. As I said the food was good . When we received the check I noticed I had been charged incorrectly and proceeded to inquire with Dawn about the mishap where she then informed me that the manager(Jessica) told her to charge me that way. I followed up with her and she agreed that's not what I ordered or the way I ordered it. Dawm spoke again with her and she refused to correct it, I then asked to speak with her because she was not busy and there were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant that was being waited on. Jessica came over to the table not very pleasant at all as if she were bothered. I explained that I had been charged in error for my food she acknowledge that Dawn should've informed me that I would be charged $10 for a side that I was not informed was not included, but again not my error. Jessica refused to correct my check stated because I had eaten some of the food that policy would not allow her to change it she also stated that corporate would watch the cameras and would see me eat the food but she would give me a MILTARY discount. A discount that I do not qualify for an absolute disappointment. Jessica informed me that the company directive is for her to give the discount but not to correct the error.I asked for the General managers number she insisted they would tell me the same I am utterly dissatisfied with the manager and I explained my daughter is a veteran and giving me a discount I DIDNT earn would not be right she shrugged her shoulders again saying the company told her to do so. I would like to say it saddens me to know that this locations is using a military discount for non military customers and that there is no ownership on the staff for their errors. This alone I would not recommend this location...
Read moreSuper excited to see a Denny's on our road trip since we hadn't been to one in years. Bonus, it's the old style chrome diner Denny's. We were sat relatively quickly, in spite of a steady stream of customers coming in. Our server was nice and friendly. The restrooms were a little gross and the sanitary boxes in the ladies room were overflowing. My husband got the Coubtry Fried Steak breakfast. He said the CFS was great the first few bites, then was a little rich and greasy. But that's what a CFS is, right? Lol. Overall his was good. My daughter had the spaghetti kids meal with a salad. The salad is just lettuce in a bowl with croutons. Still, they were premade in a cooler - you could tell since the croutons were cold and stale. My 5 year old didn't say too much though...just asked why there wasn't as myth in ng but croutons on her "salad" since the picture had cucumbers. Steer clear of the veggie burger. The party was absolutely disgusting. It was like warm mush flopped on a bun, and literally felt out of the bun in chunks when I picked it up. The taste was off, and it was like a creamed slop with no shape or consistency. That was disappointing since the cheddar bun I picked was super tasty, all the toppings were fresh and crisp, and it otherwise would have been an amazing veggie burger. The fries were decent too. I asked our server, and then the manager, if there was anything they could do about the check since the veggie burger was so bad. The server was nice ed and got the manager. She said she couldn't take it off, but she could discount it. Which is fine...I did eat half the bun (we'd been drivin GB for hours and I was starving). I just didn't want to pay full price when I was only able to choke down one bite of the patty. I did eat the fries too. They weren't super special , just basic good diner fries, hot and crispy.
Overall, food was hit or mess, restaurant was clean except gross bathrooms, and service was good - everyone was nice. Just dont order the...
Read moreI'm a month late writing this review BUT needed to share. My partner and I came to this Dennys one night (after 11PM) for a late date night. When we walked in, it wasn't super busy, we were greeted by the front cashier and seated in the back near the restrooms (opposite side of restaurant was closed off).
We were given menus but not by the female who was to be our waitress. I've worked in restaurants so there is definitely an etiquette to handling new tables being seated. Our server was a skinny black girl with a what appeared to be a long ponytail - we never got her name because well, she NEVER came and introduced herself. We sat for about 15 minutes still waiting for her to at least say hello and take our drink orders. Didn't happen. She was too focused on getting the order of the table next to us and prining receipts (which all could have been done in a row had she been better with being efficient and considering the computer was right in front of our table, she saw us every time she went to use it đđđ)
Needless to say, we never even got a drink or glass of water because she failed to offer so of course we didn't get to order food. Maybe she assumed we wouldn't tip aswell as her less melanated guests at the other table. Mind you, I'm pregnant. Her lack of attention really disappointed me and my partner. After close to 30 minutes (which was a very generous amount of time to be acknowledged) we just got up and left.
As SOON as we got up and walked towards the door, the waitress suddenly noticed us enough to say, "I'm sorry for your wait."
In my mind, "what wait?!" We were blantantly ignored. That was my first and very last time there. I would highly recommend better training for the server staff or at least hire people who actually understand customer...
