Disgusting and Unacceptable! I’ve had multiple terrible experiences with the HoneyBaked Ham store in Locust Grove, Georgia, at the Tanger Outlet Mall, and I will never shop here again. In 2023, they sold us a bad ham, and after calling to complain, they replaced it. I thought it was a one-time mistake, but the same thing happened again during Christmas 2024, this time with an expired turkey.
When I called to report it, the manager admitted over the phone that the expired turkey was given to us by mistake and that those turkeys were meant to be chopped up and used in another product they sell. That is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! Selling expired food and repurposing it into other products is beyond gross and raises serious concerns about food safety.
The manager initially promised to replace the turkey, telling me that all I had to do was come in, as my name was in the book. However, when I went to the store on January 19, 2025, the assistant manager told me they weren’t going to honor the replacement because they had already credited me once before. When I asked to speak with the manager, the assistant manager called her, but the manager refused to speak to me directly. Instead, she made the assistant manager pass along the message. How cowardly!
It’s not my fault this store repeatedly sells expired food, and I shouldn’t have to fight to get replacements for their mistakes. The fact that the manager refused to speak with me shows just how little they value their customers.
This store’s practices are disgusting, dangerous, and completely unprofessional. If they can’t ensure the quality and safety of their food, they shouldn’t be in business. I’ll never shop here again, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids this...
Read moreI live in the area, and last time here before today was around Thanksgiving. I'd not visited since due to the foods. I'd ordered a sandwich, lb each of ham & turkey, but when I got home, I'd noticed the ham was brown, both had awful smells like it was old & spoiled and inedible. The sandwich, disgusting as well; not to mention the fact items on the sandwich I'd asked to not be put on sandwich. It shows the service has declined because it's usually stragglers, 1 person at the most in the facility. Today, I'd ordered food, a mini sandwich and BEYOND disgusting. Some sauce that was really funky and running out of sandwiches; stench so bad I couldn't even stomach for eating off the smell alone. I'd ordered a 1/2 lb of turkey, again disgusting and a small piece to taste, definitely not a fresh turkey taste. The only thing edible were the chips, soda, and cookie. Definitely the last time I'll ever visit this location. Monies and time wasted. DISGUSTING. this place has to be checked by health inspectors because something is really not up to code in this store. It's also apparent by frequent frequentors within the past...
Read moreI ordered a $138 whole boneless Honey Baked Ham for Christmas but when I got home and opened it, It was not a whole ham, in fact it was only a half of a ham with the bone in. When I called to let them know they made a mistake they couldn’t find my order and told me to come in. I went in and received the whole ham I originally ordered and was given the half. When I opened the whole ham I was immediately disappointed and disgusted. The ham was burnt and already cut in half. There was no glaze. I was completely embarrassed to serve such a thing to my family. I’m not sure if it was an old ham used to make sandwiches throughout the day or if it was left out but it was extremely dry even before I tried to warm it up. I even tried to serve the half of ham I was given and was even more disappointed. Both hams were completely overcooked and flat out disgusting. I am not pleased and I want a full refund. I have been ordering from HoneyBaked ham for years and I have never had such a bad experience. NEVER again, will I go to the HoneyBaked Ham in...
