I'm used to Starbucks around the world going above and beyond, however this store might need a refresher on customer service, especially during busier times. It's stressful during those busier times, but one of the reasons people are willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee is because of Starbucks customer service. I was in yesterday and another customer asked if one of the good items the batista was holding was hers, and she responded, "Maybe. I don't know." Today I asked if my flat white could be topped off with some hot milk because the foam was a third of the cup, and she said, "No... not with hot milk. Our machine foams milk so there's space at the top." A flat white is frothy milk, not foamed. The main issue is I paid for a tall and got a short size amount. I do NOT understand filthy countertops where you are prepping food and drinks, putting completed orders in a puddle of sticky spilled coffee none of the EIGHT employees that did it could seem to see. (Magic invisible coffee spill??). Zero. Attendance to the visibly dirty cafe area. Zero assistance to a slightly disabled elderly gentleman and clueless, rude employees. It always helps to murmur the order names into the din of musak. Everyone had to check and recheck orders that were plopped on the counter. I’d prefer zero stars but as with most things, NOT returning is the best feedback. For the drive thru patrons— please remain oblivious and don’t go inside. I had gone to another Starbucks this morning, who messed up my order and refused to fix their error. And I walked into Altoona to ask what their policy was on fixing orders, and another Starbucks messed up. The cashier was so polite and kind and said we’ll fix it right up for you just show me the receipt in the drinks which I had with me and presented.
