Well let me start with it being the first visit Husband and I took daughter and grandkids here for Dinner last night (sat) we arrived around 6:45 and we were told the wait time was about 35 to 45 minutes. So we decided to wait . There is a little gift shop so I figured I'd shop while waiting ( the gift shop was great , good deals and cute items ) and spent a little time shopping maybe 20 minutes or so. Checked out of the gift shop at 7:08;pm Went back in and bought something else about 10 mins later Went back outside and waited some more At around 7:50 pm we finally got our seats Ordered drinks and appetizers and they all came out quickly The nachos were not great I could've made my own at home better ( pic attached) Pretzels and cheese were good. Before appetizers came out we ordered our dinner so from 8:10 pm to 8:50 we waited for our meals Was giving a pop with a refill before I even received my dinner My sandwich was good I ordered bison but didn't taste a difference from that and a reg cow burger. IDK if I was supposed to taste a difference since the first time I've eaten it My husband ordered chopped steak and ordered it well It came out well done and tough he wasn't really happy but we were hungry because the 2 hour drive to our daughters we were waiting to eat to take them but anyway. My granddaughter ordered chicken tenders and she wasn't happy because her tenders had the (white stuff) tendons in them so she didn't eat much at all because she was picking at them as to not bite into tendon. The other 2 meals chicken wings and blended burger Were fine didn't hear any complaints The biggest complaints were the food not cooked as asked tendons in the chicken, wait time underestimated and the time it took for food to come to table. Waitress did say our food should be coming she was going to check and never came back until after runner brought the food. 45 mins after we ordered Needless to say I probably won't ever eat there again but I don't live there so I guess we wouldn't' be there much anyway. I will say that it seemed like it was being run by kids and teenagers I don't think in our visit did I see an older adult 18+ other than the gift shop There was a hostess that was doing a great job at multitasking cleaning tables and hostessing so kudos to her The place was cool the shop was great and the ax throwing looked fun. Might want to rush the food could move people in and out quicker to make up for long wait times. Was the worst way to spend over $100 Adding that the people behind us that sat down after us got their food about 30 mins...

Prices are still ok, but the sampler the skins were burnt as were the nacho chips but the cheese on the chips wasn't melted. Not giving up on these guys the service was very good and the staff was relaxed and great.
A lot of potential!! I enjoyed the idea and the look of Hungry Buffalo but the reality needs some improvement. My wife and I went here for a day date. First, the menu has a good selection of bar food favorites, beers, IPA's, and spirits. We had the best server in the place she was more energetic and friendly than any of the other serving staff I watched come and go from the tables. She seemed a little over worked and mismanaged as she was a lot of extra prep work while serving. We ordered the nachos with what the server recommended was the chilli on top of it. She came back and said they were out so we did chicken. The nachos were good the chicken was plentiful and it had a fair amount of cheese on it with other toppers and sour cream. We also got side salads one garden and one ceasar salad. They were good salads nothing wrong with them but nothing really stood out either. The meal my wife got was the ribeye cooled medium with a baked potato. She then had to switch to a sweet potato because the server said the oven was broke. I had the buffalo meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravey. Now mind you we had two items we order we could not get and here is were the 2 star rating comes from. My wifes steak cooked right medium but it was plain no rub or spices even salt or pepper on the steak it was very bland. The sweet potato was not fully baked. It was also cool not piping hot or even hot just warm. The steak was also warm. My meal didn't fair much better. The mashed potatoes were cold so not even warm. The meatloaf was burn on the outside cold in the middle. The meatloaf was a blend of bison, sausage, and hamburger. The sausage overpowered that blend it was the only thing you could taste. The drinks we had were good I had an IPA and my wife a Buffalo Sunrise. The speed of service started out really good very quick on the drinks and appetizer but it was a long time before we got our main dish and another 15 minutes to get our check. We could see the server doing prep work as we waited. The atmosphere was good it is clean and if you get cold easily like my wife does have a sweater or something cause the AC works very well. I got to say we had high hopes but ultimately were disappointed. Hopefully they...
Read moreIt’s never a fun experience to write a sub-par review, but that’s your duty when reviewing places honestly.
Let’s get to the nitty gritty. I was so excited when they brought the food, everything looked so good and we were so hungry. The best part of the entire dinner, all three people, was the wedge salad and the loaded fries, I think it had to do with the ranch, which was good! I was lucky enough to get that while my fiancé had the fries. Mom drew the short straw. Other than that, every other thing was flat out not appetizing or straight out inedible.
The fried pickle batter was SUPER salty, and I’m a salter. The pickles were also dehydrated, odd.
The Buffalo Chili consisted of their leftover meats (this is common in restaurants and not the issue) and had no taste. It was as if it was a combination of peppers, tomatoes, meats, and beans with water poured over it.
The burger was dry, bland and my fiancé was left wanting. She’s not picky.
The chicken burrito was so large, yet tasteless beyond bland. The chicken was overly fatty and greasy not grilled like the menu boasts. The salsa and queso that it comes with were alright. I’m sorry mom.
The wings looked good, I opted for the “Hand-breaded Traditional” wings. They were larger than your typical wing place, which was great! The issue? They were not cooked all the way. I know that sometimes you get the “blood vein” in a chicken wing, this was not the case. Every flat, probably the drumsticks as well (I ate those before I looked down), was bloody and pink. To add insult to injury we made the waitress aware and they would not take them off the bill. So, we paid $13 for 3 wings out of 10. Unacceptable.
Now to the drinks.
My imperial stout was fantastic. It came from a bottle and was cold.
The tequila/grapefruit drink was over-poured (in the worst way) and extremely bitter. We sent it back and they replaced it with another drink, the ‘merica.
The ‘merica was a red white and blue cocktail consisting of berry vodka, grenadine and sprite. It was good, nothing to write home about.
All in all, we paid $78 for a terrible meal. Remember to ALWAYS tip your waiter/waitress, unless they didn’t earn it, even if your meal is bad, it’s not their fault.
In my humble opinion, if you go there, check out the gift shop, go to the attached, three-stall, hand axe throwing venue, and drink beer. Everything else was an utter disappointment. If you want food, check...
