Myself and my husband have been staying her on and off for 4 months for work. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this hotel. The staff here are wonderful, always willing to help you and make you feel like a welcome family. We have two dogs that are always traveling with us and they welcome them with open arms as well. Now for the rooms. They are always soooo clean, and the one time I walked into a room and it had a smell the manager didn’t even hesitate to get us a new room. He apologized for inconvenience (even though there wasn’t one). The beds are medium firm to me. The breakfast is always delicious and the coffee is available 24/7 with flavored creamer!! They also have a pool and laundry available. I honestly couldn’t say enough good things. Oh and every Wednesday they offer a dinner as well last night it was steak, hamburgers, and lasagna. Rhonda the main manager is the nicest most helpful manager I’ve ever ran into in the hotel world. And we work on the road 300 out of 365 days a year. I would stay here any time you are in this area.

The staff and service are probably the best things about this location. The staff is amongst the friendliest I’ve encountered at a hotel. From the front desk to the housekeeper: friendly, welcoming, polite, and above and beyond service all-around. The rooms are nice and have everything one would need in a hotel. The beds and pillows are especially comfortable; which is hit or miss in many hotels. They welcome dogs: which was great. They have a nice patio in the back and a side yard for dogs. The area makes it conveniently located to Hocking Hills State Park. It’s just miles from the center of the park. Right next to this hotel is a BBQ restaurant, there’s a brewery 2 lots down, and a few other shops and restaurants in the immediate area. It’s literally right off the freeway and the first thing you see from the highway right as you take the exit. Definitely recommend. It’s a great spot for anyone really: families, couples, travelers, drivers, etc.

Now this is a brand new hotel. Honestly, it is expected to be a good review. For the most part, it is. This is not a large building. It is amung others on the same block. I think it's aimed at budget, but nice. Note. a bit over priced for the market. A few more dollars, you could be at the big name hotel down at the corner. It being new, you do get nice big tv, big walk-in shower. Nice decor. Microwave refrigerator. A bit more then basic breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a pool, that I didn't see. I had an jointing room. Bad. I heard way more noise then I should have. Both nights. I really could have the door open, it would be the same. That is where the value goes away. I don't dislike it, just not quite worth the money.

We visited Hocking Hills this weekend for the first time to enjoy the nature trails with our 5 and 7 year old kids. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children with two queen beds weeks ago and received a confirmation email with this information. When we arrived at the Sleep Inn Saturday at 2pm we checked in and were told we had a king suite with one king bed. I explained we had 4 people including two kids and that wouldn’t work. I was told by both the woman at the front desk and then her supervisor that they were fully booked and we were out of luck. I asked for two roll away beds and was told they could only provide one due to fire rules. They suggested one of our kids sleep on the floor. They told us “the last time this happened we just gave blankets for someone to sleep on the floor.” If this is a known issue with their computer systems they need to resolve it immediately.

The positive is the woman checking people in at the front desk was friendly and the room was clean. However, their error got our weekend off to a sour start. I asked for a discount due to someone in our family needing to sleep on the floor and was told they would check with the manager and get back to me. They did not and we were charged the full amount. The other negatives were that there were zero drawers in our hotel room. Not one. Very strange for a hotel room. There were also no recycling bins anywhere in the hotel that I could see. The walls were also very thin. Our room neighbors were not even talking very loud other than a laugh here or there, but we could hear them clear as day as if they were right in our room with us late at night.

Overall, the hotel was clean and staff was generally friendly. I would not stay here again, but if you do I highly recommend you call ahead of time to confirm your reservation is as you requested, and...

I had my room reserved for almost 3 months. I walked in and was impressed by the place, clean and neat. Got registered and went to my room. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was and couldn't wait to unpack as I was staying 3 days. The room was hot and stuffy so it went to adjust the AC but it threw up an error code and would not reset. I went back down (my room was on the 3rd floor) to the front desk. They said they would send a maintenance guy to repair the unit. Within minutes a nice young man showed up, he unplugged the unit several times and tried to reset it. Nothing worked. He said I'll see about getting you another room. Back down to the front desk, they said he didn't reset it right so back he went. I stayed in the lobby with my luggage. After awhile he came back and said no he couldn't get it going but another maintenance guy would be there to look at it tomorrow. Tomorrow? I said, it's 80 degrees in there. We can give you a fan...I said no thanks and went to the front desk again. I gave back my key cards and asked for a new room. The young lady said they were booked full and there were none available. While I was waiting I had checked the website and it was still selling rooms. I pointed this out and the lady got a little irritated and said I don't know anything about that we are booked. So you can't help me? No I'm sorry. Not acceptable I said, she then called her boss, came back and said we've issued you a refund, you should see it in your account in 3 to 5 business days. That's all we can do. We'll I had paid in advance and didn't plan for the expense of getting another hotel room. I eventually got my refund but won't do business with this place again. Wouldn't help find an alternative or anything. Just left me stranded without a room. Thanks Sleep Inn I...

Our family chose this hotel mainly because everything else was booked or ridiculously expensive. The hotel was clean, the decorations were modern and minimal. The staff were all wearing masks and were constanly seen cleaning. The pool was nice and kept at a nice temperature. It was never overpopulated during the days we were staying. The hotel doesnt allow more than 13 in the pool area at a time. Usually, we were in there by ourselves. At one point, there weren't towels at the pool area but that was literally one time out of three. The hotel was prompt when replacing towels or anything we requested. The coffee machine in the room was a disappointment, but they do have coffee in the breakfast area available all day and night which tastes far better. The continental breakfast was mainly carbs consisting of bagels, muffins, and oatmeal. The healthier items were yogurt and fruit. It was not bagged like the website described. The shower head is like being sprayed with a tiny squirtgun and couldn't even wet my hair, leading me to wash my hair under the bathtub spigot. The hotel offers a 10% discount to local restaurants which came in handy so many times. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and will be staying again. It is so conveniently located to so many nice places worth a visit. I am concerned that they may not wash the down blankets after every visitor so beware. I plan on asking about this before we stay again. Happy...
