We (2 kids and 2 adults) stayed here for 1 night in April. The hotel is very convenient to a number attractions in the area including the Hocking Hills State Park. The room was exactly as described and they even provided the firm pillows my husband requested. Plenty of parking was available but it wasn't very busy in the first place. We ordered some take out from a nearby BBQ place and picked it up by walking there. There were a few other food and entertainment places nearby you could just walk to, that's a huge plus for me. Lake Logan is close by as well, we actually walked through the RV park to take a look at it. Breakfast in the morning was very good, they had the usual items like bagels, eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, cereal, pancakes etc. I think everyone will find something to eat. Everyone working there was very nice. The pool was clean, my kids enjoyed it. There's an elevator available. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area and want to explore surrounding areas.

They were struggling a bit when we were there. Several things were broken or under construction (lobby AC, WiFi, elevator, front doors, workout room), however I think we just caught them at an unfortunate time. They were actively working on these things and the staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. It’s a Holiday Inn, so the nice thing is they’re pretty standard and you know what to expect. It was otherwise clean and good accommodations. If you’re looking for a cheap way to get close to Hocking Hills, this is a good place to do that. It’s fairly central to most things you’ll want to do in the area, so it makes a good home base. Yah, there are probably cooler AirBnBs around, but you’re going to pay for them, and breakfast isn’t included. It was nice to just be able to come back to the hotel and relax, and of course the kids loved the pool too.

This is a great location if you are visiting Hocking Hills. There are restaurants within walking distance and it is about 11 miles from the caves. The service is great and the staff is extremely friendly. I am in a wheelchair so we had a handicap accessible room. The room was large and there was plenty of room for me to get around. The one downside was that the walls are thin. We could hear everything from the rooms above us and next to us along with everything in the hallway. I don’t know if it was just the location of our room because we talked to other people staying there and they did not have that problem. The breakfast was good with plenty of options and everything was hot.Overall, I would still recommend this hotel when you’re staying in the area.

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was a nice hotel and our room was very nice and very clean. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. But I reserved the room for 4 people and when we got to the room we had 2 towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths. When I called down to the front desk to ask for more they said they would send more up but we waited for a very long time and never received them. I had to go down to get them and they only wanted to give me one more towel and one more washcloth. I explained that we only had 2 in the room for 4 people and needed a couple more so we could all have towels and washcloths and the girl behind the front desk kind of gave me attitude because I asked for more. I wasn't very happy with that. Then my 22 year old daughter took my 7 year old daughter swimming and there were a bunch of kids in the pool, with their parents sitting there watching, and they were rough housing and horse playing so much that my oldest daughter had to take my youngest out of the pool. She said a few people left with their kids because they were just too rough and were scared their kids were going to get hurt. I actually think a couple of people complained but nothing was ever said to them. Something should have been said to the parents and the kids to make them settle down so everyone and their children could be able to be in the pool and not worry about their safety. The last thing is we were in our room and our 7 yr old got a game for her birthday and we were playing the game. It was like 10pm and we got a knock at the door and it was someone from the front desk saying we were being too loud and the people below us were complaining. I don't know how sitting on a bed playing a game with your kids is being too loud but that just made us feel a little frustrated and it was 10pm on a Saturday night. They couldn't have just called our room? It was sort of embarrassing too if anyone would've been in the hallway walking and seen them or heard them telling us that. I can see if we were drinking or partying but we were just playing a kids game with our child. So there were a few things that did upset us about this hotel but it was nice and clean and if I had to I would stay again. I will just make sure I get a 1st floor room, swim when nobody else is in the pool area, and make sure to get extra towels and washcloths before I go to our room. I know I may sound like a "Karen" as people say these days, but sometimes it's these little things that can make something special, that you want to do for somebody special, not a great experience for that somebody special. This was a birthday surprise trip for both of our daughters and I wanted them to have the best time. But when little things happen that are aggravating and frustrating to us, it brings them down. I'm not the type to really complain but for the price we paid for a one night stay, things could've went a...

We were in town for my brother-in-laws wedding along with our entire family and the brides family checking in to this hotel. We arrive after driving for 4.5 hours to there being either no water in rooms or not hot water. They knew about this issue all day and decided to not let anyone checking in that day know about it. We then go to check in and the front desk lady said our room was cancelled. She said the third party that we booked our room through canceled our room. We didn’t use a third party site to book, we booked directly through holiday in. When we showed her proof of that, she said there was no way she could help us out and that we would have to take it up with the people we booked with. We kept telling her that we booked directly through holiday inn and she just kept arguing with us. It was absolutely the most bazaar interaction I’ve ever had with a hotel staff. She was dismissive and rude and would not help us. We gave her the confirmation # as well as showed her that our card had been charged for the room from holiday inn and she still kept dismissing us. She then argued with all of us and said that his card wasn’t charged when it indeed was. She dismissed us and told us we could find a room at nearby hotel and started helping the next person. Absolutely 0 hospitality. We then called holiday inn customer service and they tell us that our room had not been canceled, but that it was in fact checked in and occupied. She gave our room to someone else and instead of owning up to her mistake and listening to us, she did all of that and literally had us find a new hotel at 10:30pm! We are now dealing with holiday inn not wanting to give us a full refund because the room that we payed for did in fact get used, but not by us. Please whatever you do, do not stay here! There’s a hotel right next door that was fantastic and the hotel is 100x cleaner and the rooms were 100x nicer! And for anyone higher up wanting to know what night this was and what staff you had working at that time, it was Wednesday 12/22/22 between 9:30pm & 10:30pm. One of the girls had been only working there for 2 days, she was okay but also rude, but it was the other girl working. Everyone in our entire party that she was the worst person they’ve ever dealt with at a hotel and there...

When I booked 2 months ago, it initially asked if there were any requests and for what reason (requested early check in and for a wedding.) The wedding was 3 hours away thus the reason for the early check in needed to get ready. Upon arrival, the receptionist got defensive right off the bat when I told her I had a room reserved, She simply said "Nope. No rooms ready yet." Before I could even get out that I had requested early check in she told us we needed to book more than a day in advance in which I explained we had booked 2 months ago to which she added "Well, the requests on the site aren't actually fulfilled.." I work in the service industry and would never insult a customer in that way. What is the point in offering a request if it is pointless to at least act like you will try your best to fulfill them.. She told us that they couldn't get up to clean the rooms because of covid (that it would take too long) when check out should have been at 11am as far as I know and it was after noon when we arrived on 9-5-20. Luckily we had a relative close that we could get ready there but was even more insulting to find the same employee and 2 others that looked like they may have been management smoking and chatting outside when we checked out the day after with no employee around to make sure we were good to go for 10 minutes. The room itself wasn't horrible it was at least clean for them having 4 extra hours to clean it.... not really any hot water in the shower but I could deal. Never would I ever allow anything service wise to happen in my store and for that to happen in a hotel I payed the price for I would get incredible service elsewhere and was disappointed in that at this location. I will add that an employee (I believe her name was Sophie) later in the day assisted us quickly, friendly, and no problems but the am employee was just abrupt and insulting (I didn't catch her name). If anyone from HQ would like to contact...
