I placed an online order today through Bob Evans website and it was delivered through Door dash. And once again it was missing part of my order and what I did receive was not cooked properly. I call in around 730pm about it and explain the problem and what was missing. I was placed on hold while the women looked for her manager. She came back and told me she was on the phone and I should call back and try to get her later, maybe around 830pm. I asked if she could take my name and number and have her call me when she was free so I didn't need to keep calling in trying to catch her. The girl said no I can't do that I'm not a manager. To which I said, why can you not write down my name and number and give it to the manager. She said she would not do it just call back. I said I'd really appreciate her just taking the message. She said she would not and hung up on me. So I call back and get the same women and ask again for her to take a message and she said she would not. I said I don't understand why you can't just pick up a pen and paper and write down my name and number. You guys messed up, I'm missing food and it should be addressed as soon as possible when she is off the phone cause I would still like to have it delivered tonight. She put me back on hold without saying anything for 5 minutes then hung up on me again. Eventually after calling like 6 times I get the manager and tell her my issue with the order and my larger issue with their customer service. They could not send out the missing items so I was just getting a credit which was not ideal since I had worked in the heat and was exhausted. I will never order from them again because this has happened just about every time we order. I have gotten family meals of chicken fried steak and just got a large tub of gravy that was suppose to feed 6 people. Read moreThe wait on our food would have been a -1 star. But, BUT, we walked In around 8:05pm. We got our seat. Only 2-3 tables had other ppl(1-4 customers per). We realized they close at 9pm. But our kids menu cheeseburger, adult bacon cheeseburger and my/a grilled chicken samm'ich weren't sat on our table until around 9.05pm. We were the only one customers there at the time..(My 14&8 year old sons accompanied me). The waitress was new to the job. Very easy to tell. Even then, she was awesome. A few minor mess up's and like I said, nearly 1 hour waiting on our meals. But the girl, she was young but was sweet, and patient with us/my hellian kids. So I showed the same decency. -- patience.. She did give us each chocolate milk rather than refills on our sweet tea that they didn't have anymore of. And she gave us dinner rolls pro-bono.. I was thrilled to see the lower $ on the bill when It got to our table. But then the young lady at the counter where you pay, asked if 1 meal of ours was a kids meal. I said well, yes, why? And she hit a few keys on the register & boom. $5 more came off our final bill. I assume it was a "kids eat free" day..? Maybe?(It was a Tuesday night..?) The last time i ate at this branch it was incredibly slow Service also BUT upon putting further thought into it - it appears to me that a lot of the employees are younger here. Like 25 and under. They all are at least working. Not lounging around in their mommas basement binge Watching Maury Povitch & Jerry Springer reruns collecting money from The Biden handout, $$ for all, worshipping gov officials. If you are not Exactly wanting to have a potential long wait on your food Then I recommend going elsewhere. But if you have time and patience, cut these kids here a break..and go eat some...
Read moreHusband ordered biscuits and gravy. His food came out with slime in his gravy. The waitress Alexiz only stopped by our table two times after we received our meals. Not once did she ask if we wanted a refill. Or how things were. We had to flag her down to get her to come to our table for the issue my husbandhad with the gross slime in his gravy. She took his plate and showed her manager. The manager didn't even have the decency to come out to our table knowing how our dining experience was with the slime found in my husband's gravy which was disgusting!! The manager only told the server she would just take the money off for HIS meal. This affected both our dining experience not just his. Completely gross seeing a big brown glob of slime in gravy. Her manager excused it as saying it was probably just burnt. It most definitely wasn't a burnt crispy texture but slime. And even if it was burnt why are you serving burnt food? and furthermore it shows a lack of hospitality since the manager didn't have an ounce of decency to speak to us. You represent your store so YOU should come out when a customer has a gross dining experience. His bacon was also limp and not cooked through.
This also isn't the first time we have had a bad experience here. The third!
First we waited an hour past the time the carryout order was Expected! An HOUR!
Last he received one egg for a two egg meal.
Someone needs to go in here and clean house.
