The store is absolutely amazing! Kurt makes sure his employees are serving the customers right. I had a personal shopper that didn't rush me, didn't complain, and didn't act like I was a nuisance. Being in a wheelchair and trying to shop is almost impossible at times. That is were personal shoppers come into the situation. They help me shop like anyone else would be able to. The gas portion of the Costco trip being disabled in a wheelchair also has a great service.... usually. If you pull up to thr pumps and honk twice if you are disabled placard or disabled plates they will help by pumping your gas for you. Now in doing so I'm gonna tell you there are some seriously lazy attendees. I honk twice wait, honk twice, wait, honk by laying on NY horn and getting pissed because it's been 10 minutes and watched them do other stuff..... It doesn't matter where someone like me pulls up to the pumps. All the way on the west side or east side closest to the actual store I should get the same service.! This last time I visited I got service within 4 minutes..... the ONLY reason I got service so fast because I was annoying and honked twice every 30 seconds to a minute. When I got service I didn't complain and I didn't say they were bad. Infact I said they did great and they talked to me. I explained why I was recording until they got there. The interesting thing about the conversation was they said that people honk at other people and they don't really pay attention and just ignore the quick 2 honks that happen until they honk a second or third time they honk, and its hard to hear the fare side. So now I have uncovered 2 lazy issues. They need to get off their backsides and go check the cars that honk no matter what. Don't think anyone that honks is honking at someone else. Always go check basically don't be lazy and get it through their brains the instructions say people like me honk twice for service. We don't honk repeatedly, we don't honk and honk again, we don't have to be in a certain line. If they made a dedicated line for people like me they wouldn't stop regular people from using it. So that would defeat the purpose of us getting quick fast easy service. The second issue of not hearing us well that's easy to. Stop setting all the way on the west side trying to hide in your little cargo box. You are paid to be an ATTENDANT. That means you attend and pay attention not be lazy. You need to be in the middle of the pumps. You can have a stool to sit on. But you can dress appropriately for being outside and do your job. Someone is gonna say that's to much for one person. My response is wow I would hate to see what would happen if they had to do actual hard work. The second thing I would say is stick 2 attendees out there or here's an idea .... RE-EDUCATION AND RETRAINING. I have to get gas today and we will see what happens. Well I thought when I pulled up that I wouldn't have the same issues because there were a couple employees standing there on the next couple pumps over, not a lot of customers at the pumps. The pumps I usually go to had 2 open pumps. Pulled up shut the truck off honked twice and then proceeded to get my phone one to start filming. The employees were still standing there and once I began to talking to my phone directly pointing it at the employees that's when they yelled over you need help ma'am. I said yeah I honked didn't I? I got the there's 30 pumps out here excuse, and the most people usually wave excuse. I said I did my part" and again "well there's 30 pumps" I said "NO!" Yes I wasn't forgiving and proceeded to again tell him the rules are and state to get service I need to pull up cut my engine and honk twice its their job to come and do their part when I do my part. I called the store and spoke with a nice administration employee forgive me I suck at names but I believe it was Kevin. He said that had been doing the retraining and thought they had fixed the issues but it seems they need to do it again because employees are slipping back into excuses which is...
Read moreThe employees here are disgusting they made my hispanic mother feel humiliated discriminated in front of everybody. As we will take legal action and will let cooperate know. On Friday May 5th , my 50 year old spanish speaking mother , a card holding member for years went to this store and faced horrible treatment by your employees at check out .Claudia Sosa went to checkout she was denied purchase because the cashier* Debora ** (short with black hair ) didn't think she looked like the picture. The picture was a couple years old but she had never been asked or required to change it before this horrible display of poor customer service and lack of respect. In response Claudia showed them her Identification card that provided her legal name and picture for comparison Deborah denied her identity, publicly holding her up and bringing Dan** to verify the ID, who also denied her identity, alleging that her Costco membership only had her first and last name, while her state ID had her full extended name, Claudia Elizabeth Sosa Ruiz, something that had never been questioned in years until her presence in this location.
My mother is perfectly capable of understanding English, just not fluent at speaking it, at no point was anyone asked to help with the situation that was capable of understanding her, even though the store is in a predominantly Hispanic area, which greatly brings into question your hiring practices whether it was blatant xenophobia and not hiring people capable of speaking Spanish, or an active choice from your employees to not let my mother have a voice. After being informed of the proceedings I stopped what I was doing and headed to the store to help out my mother, it was there supervisor Josh would give me the names of those involved, but it was also there to our faces that Glen at memberships made a comment saying my mother looked like a man, and therefore justifying her humiliation and invalidation once again by your employees at this location. After all the supervisors said he will be back to apologize and never did .I will soon go back and get a picture of that lady debora had the worst...
Read moreThis Costco location is the very first Costco location I've ever been to and that was as a child and I still visit this location from time to time. I can honestly say that as an adult I'm still happy with this location. Both the exterior and exterior are always very well maintained as far as the cleanliness goes. The presentation is always set up well and I can imagine it's do to the the employees I always see working hard every time I visit. Presentation may not seem like a big deal to employees when they're setting up but as a Costco customer I assure you it is and my expectations are definitely met. Now about the employees and customer service at the location.. it isn't bad but there is definitely room for improvement. Like I mentioned already I always see them working hard and that's a very good thing.l however it shouldn't be at the cost of providing good customer service. More than a Handful of times when seeking or asking for customer service it always seemed rushed or question have mostly been answered with short questions as if they were not allowed to take the time to answer them. If not that I've been diverted to someone else and by that I mean pointed in the direction to someone else that might be able to answer them. I don't even bother anymore to be honest. I hope management at this location can make some changes at this level. I receive the best location when speaking to the Verizon wireless representatives but how often does anyone need to speak to a wireless rep. when visiting. Customer service needs to be the very first and most important priority at any business. No employee should ever be to busy to provide that. Not ever unless they're not on the clock. I'd still like to provide my four star rating because my visits here are...
