I gotta say that my experiences with Curacao have always been bad and unfortunately it all has to do with their customer service. Last year I opened my account, always made my payments on time online and a few months after they locked me out of my account so I could no longer log in and make my payments so I had make the 2 plus hour drive to Curacao to make them because customer service couldn't unlock my account. One day driving to go make a payment I had a bad car accident I called them to let them know what had happened and to please unlock my account because my car was totalled and was no longer going to be able to drive down there the girl I was speaking to said she couldn't do it and transferred me to a manager by the name of Karina who had me on the phone for so long my battery died and when I called back they told me she was now in a meeting and to give them my number and she would call me back well for a whole week I called her and she was always in a meeting or wasn't in but that she would call me as soon as possible, well I never heard from Karina again, it was shocking to me that these people didn't want to take my payment and couldn't unlock my account. A month or two later I start getting harassing phone calls because they had not received my payments, helloooo!!! I tried to make payments and they wouldn't get back to me. I called them back and spoke to a very rude gentleman demanding I make a full payment of now 6 hundred and something because if I didn't they were going to continue adding late fees I had to laugh how are you adding late fees when your manager who was supposed to unlock my account and take a payment the day I spoke to her never called me back we bickered back and forth till I just hung up on him. I called back the next day spoke to a lovely lady name Sahara explained the whole situation to her and her and her manager removed the late fees I paid what I owed in full so everything should be all good right? NOPE went in today to grab some stuff and they deactivated my account because according to the cashier I had not use my account in 6 months which no one ever told me I had to do to keep the account opened and that I also had a late payment!! which was their fault!!!!! For not doing their job!!! Now she wants to run my credit again to activate my account seriously you have to run my credit! NO! thank you. Please avoid this place honestly everything is overpriced if you can get a Walmart card or a card anywhere else go their don't waste your time here...
Read moreI didn't actually go to the store, but the management and customer service was horrendous! I had received an email offer for a refrigerator during a promotion after Thanksgiving. When I added the refrigerator to my cart and the promotion disappeared. I ended up making 5 phone calls, waited on hold for over an hour and while I was speaking to customer service the promotion had ended!! I had proof of this, and they refused to honor the price for me, making it impossible for me to afford the refrigerator! I was ready to purchase it, it was in my cart and as soon as I hung up with customer service I tried to place the order and the price went back to the regular price. Very frustrating. I believe that they should have honored the price since I was working out the issue with customer service at the time the promotion had ended. After multiple attempts, phone calls, and emails, they would not sell me the refrigerator. It was only minutes from when I spoke to them and when the promotion had ended. Everyone said there was nothing they could do. I believe that they could have, but chose not to. I have been a good customer for a long time, with a zero balance on my account with them because I was waiting for the promotion on that particular refrigerator. Very frustrating. And not fair, not good business practices to treat the customer that way. I was just trying to purchase the refrigerator!! *UPDATE * So management contacted me and apologized for the misunderstanding. He worked with me and honored the promotion, and helped me get my refrigerator! I absolutely love it!!! It looks great and works awesome! Read moreHad the most HORRIBLE experience with this company, went in to get a stove and had it set up for delivery on a specific day, and confirmed with he store clerk, so decided to clear our old stove to make room for the new one, the stove never got delivered on the date scheduled, so I called their "customer service" and ask when the stove was going to be delivered they gave me a later date ( 3 days later) that it would be delivered. Stated to them that they gave us an exact date and that we already had our old stove removed, they stated they were booked for that date and they couldn't do anything, not even waive the expensive delivery fee, they had to put a request for it, so I went down to the store in San Bernardino and spoke to the warehouse "manager" he stated he was not in charge of the store but was in the front helping with customer complaints, walked away and didn't do anything but walked away, so we spoke to the cashier that "helped us out" (screwed everything up) and gave us a next day delivery, they stated they were going to reimburse us for delivery but never did, next day came and they just dropped off the stove in the driveway and left, we stated to them they were suppose to install it as well as it was in their delivery, but they said we don't do installations and left. so had to have someone from the city come out and install it for us and pay a fee. we never received a refund on delivery and contacted them again several times and never received a call back or email. bill has arrived and we were signed up for a 6 month no interest and now the bill has arrived 3x's way higher than what we were told .
