This will be a “goto” spot for many. Although it appears this restaurant is going through some growing pains it’s a wonderful spot. The decor is open and fresh with large overhead wood beams and large modern light fixtures with large folding door/windows, ample cold air with doors open on a hot day make seating option plentiful as well as outdoor seating. The chairs are very inviting with nice large padding and designed for comfort. The food was extremely well prepared and the ahi tuna was excellent as were the wings, very traditional buffalo or get several other sauces, I picked two and both weee excellent. Great tasting Chardonnay House wine. I observed many other dishes come out that I absolutely will return to try out. The “mile high meatloaf” was truly impressive looking and I have to try it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The music level and content was relaxing and fun. The location is perfect close by to a couple other excellent restaurants so an excellent option. The cons: To be fair, they are very newly opened (2 weeks) so this isn’t really a con so much as room to improve! The food delivery is a bit slow. The drink delivery was frankly unacceptable and needs to be worked out! the drink menu and martinis should be improved. With only five different martinis the selection minimal. I will return as I do with all my reviews for a second review, hoping this will improve to a five star next time.

5 stars, ALL THE WAY! A new, YUMMY restaurant in downtown Lombard! Our New FAVORITE! Right across from the train station: The Grove Tavern! Modern, Sleek & Inviting! Spacious indoor dining & bar, plus a Beautiful outdoor patio with shade by 2pm when we arrived. Extensive & impressive menu, WAY MORE than your average bar food, so many items to choose from! Our entrées were amazing! We had the Lemon chicken (very moist) and FABULOUS Shrimp tacos! Welcome to Lombard! The manager, Zara, could not have been nicer! She checked on us several times! Attentive staff and friendly servers!

I had a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Zana, the owner, which set a positive tone for my visit. Amanda provided outstanding service at the bar, ensuring that I felt well taken care of. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful introductions from servers Maria, Nelly, and Marie, who further enhanced my sense of welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to others for its excellent service and inviting atmosphere.

Literally just left like 30 min ago. We were so excited because it looked like a vibe. Its very nice and the fact that you can open the screen doors is very cool. Its esthetically pleasing. We got sat down right away. Ordered food, it did take a while to get our food, my sister ordered steak salad, she asked for medium and they gave her well done. The rush of customers started to come so idk if they were overwhelmed with so many orders. She said salad was mid. I got chicken wings, and they were also mid. I literally had just finished putting my bones from the wing on the plate and a person literally came up and said are u done, and took the plate away. Idk if they were trying to have us leave because when i tell u its busy, its busy. We also had cauliflower wings, they were good! In total we spent 62$. With 20% tip. Tbh im very disappointed all the restaurants in the Downtown Lombard area are A BIGGG Hit But this one is a pass for me. It might be because they just opened but ehhh idk i dont think i will come back. Also make sure to bring your ID, i tried showing my ID from a picture to the hostes ( it’s completely my fault for not having my id) but she wouldnt take it because the license on the pic was expired. So then i searched up a passport pic lol and showed a hostes and she was nervous so she called her manager after i told her it was okay nvm to just forget it, I just didnt want to make it a big deal. But then the manager came anf It was awkward for sure. Lol im Literally 30 years old lmfaooo, its okay tho i get it they can get introuble ! JUST MAKE SURE TO TAKE YOUR ID!!!.

So all in all its MID. Better off going to Rebel...

Edited-This is our 3rd time now coming here. Had the pulled pork tacos, shrimp tacos, onion rings, and nachos Everything was great again except the nachos. Huge disappointment, ordered them without the nacho cheese and added pulled pork. They come with Colby jack cheese and when I got the order, there was barely any cheese on it (even the I asked for extra cheese since I took off the nacho cheese) and the cheese was not even melted anywhere on the plate. It was raw shredded cheese. And a good chunk of pulled pork was just dumped on top. Cheese is a main component of nachos and the pulled pork was hard to eat because I had to use a knife and fork to cut it up. Definitely wouldn’t order that again.

As Lombard residents who live right down the street, we have been so excited to try this place. We finally made it there on Saturday night. It was a nice cooler day out so I have to say eating inside with all the sliders open was really nice. We ordered the brisket tacos, burger slider appetizer, side salad and side of tater tots.

The brisket tacos were very good, flour tortillas were great, my only wish is that it had something fresh on them, pico de gallo or fresh guac. It was a bit heavy with just brisket and fried onion strings. The sliders were delicious as were the tater tots. Can’t wait to go back and try some...
