I suggested to a colleague to use Ambers “Roadhouse 38” establishment to support her bar and small business. When we went in to ask to use the facility, she specifically said as long as our guests spend $500 or more we are good, which we had 60+. Without us there it would of been 6 customers. Her servers never once asked our guests for anything, except 1 which I believe was her daughter .. showed love to all the vendors.. thank her for that.
Amber never once introduced herself to our guests. She sat with employees gossiping and getting drunk in the corner during the day shift. She told my colleague we could setup tables, so she paid $300 for them and the day of event told us she couldn’t use the tables. Our guests spent well over $500 that day but she tried to give her a bar tab of $650 including gratuity. I tried to mediate the situation so both parties win and she threatened to call the cops if I didn’t pay, when it wasn’t even my event. Spoke to Lombard PD and they told me it was a civil manner. Duh
Since most of the vendors were Latina and Black, she didn’t want them in her establishment, the vendors complained about it. Our vendor asked for a garbage since they were serving food and she gave them Walmart bags.
After everything was said and done, she was paid $650 by my colleagues friend even though it was taken care of, because she was playing victim, but without our group there that day, she wouldn’t of even had any customers at all.
The vendors were upset because Amber was so rude to all of them when they tried to setup. She made our whole event stressful in the beginning but we still had an amazing event. I guess not a lot of Latinos and blacks go to her bar, so she didn’t like it or maybe her patrons didn’t, but she was not happy we were there 😞
Didn’t even promote our event once on her social or let one of our vendors leave a flyer for her business event.
She was paid the $650 and made over $650 with our guests … total $1300
Amber should spend more time running her establishment and not getting drunk with her...

My partner and I decided to try this new place that opened up. They got the steak sandwich and I got the steak. They both come with sides and the portions were good. They weren't oversized nor under-sized. Everything was clean, but we didn't use the bathrooms. Unsure how those were. We were able to seat ourselves which I loved. The staff was friendly, and I'll give a shout out to our waitress Kelly. She was on point and always updating us on our order. The place got busier as of Thursday Night Football approached. She was teaching the new kid and helping everyone at her tables. She deserves a raise. We ordered fried pickles and the Mac n cheese bites as appetizers and I ordered a coconut breeze for a special drink. I particularly don't care for fried pickles, but the portion size were good for 1-2 people. I loved the cheesy bites. My partner said that he would definitely come back and order the steak sandwich. And that says a lot! My first drink wasn't too good nor bad due to the amount of ice. But the second one really made up for it. This time we told them Easy on the ice. Read moreI placed a order on Grub Hub, the website said 20 minutes, I waited the 20 minutes went into the establishment and the lady had no idea what I ordered, she didn’t even know there was an order. Then I was told by the lady it will be 20 minutes. I waited. I went back in and again I was told another 20 minutes. So now it’s been an hour. I messaged grub hub to get a refund they apologized for the delay. While I was waiting in the Roadhouse I seen multiple people receiving there food and I was clearly there waiting on my order. Don’t go to this Establishment unless you have allot of time. UPDATE. So I’ve been messaging Grub hub for a full refund because I never received my food. They were in the process of refunding and today I checked my account and the refund never went through. Why because the business objected the claim. I still can’t get over the terrible experience at this restaurant. Please don’t take your family or friends here. This place should be out of business.
