If the bartender would have paid closer attention to me or at least was semi engaging I would not be leaving upset. Let’s start with the basics : A) smile. B) don’t let someone stand there for 6 minutes and you not notice them because you’re too busy yapping away with your regulars C) Ask questions. Like- “have you been here before?” Or maybe “what brought you in today?” Or “can I show you our whiskey list” not just hand someone 3 overwhelming menus and let them just figure it out. I hate asking questions that should be standardize in your greet, especially trying to read a menu with such small print. D) showcase a couple of food items that you love and suggest them….. like say “have you eaten here before? I really love the bacon wrapped jalapeños!” Something would be nice. No. You didn’t say a word and turned around back to your regulars. This tattooed Cruela Deville was hands down one of the worst bartenders I’ve had in a while. Absolutely no smile. No introduction in her self. No suggestions. No questions. Just a “look at me I have all these cool tattoos but don’t talk to me attitude “ (and I don’t hate tattoos because I have lots also). She was the most unengaged bartender ever. E) learn how to pour a beer. Literally no head on my beer and it was flat. You saw me not drinking it and yet you didn’t have enough common sense to figure out that something may be wrong. I left 2/3 rds there when I left. Can’t pick up on clues…. F) mention your daily specials. Didn’t see that menu until after I ordered my food and drink. G) If someone is ordering something spicy like jalapeno poppers for example , OFFER THEM WATER!!!! When they’re out of water, REFILL THEIR GLASS! I had to walk around to the other side of the bar to refill my water because my mouth was on fire and watched the bartender play on her phone and walk away!!! Unacceptable! At least your kitchen guy is awesome I give you that much.
Train your staff better if you want new business other than 60 year old men.

Read moreMike was awesome as our server for Super Bowl. It was nice to see a familiar face, as he also works at the Sebastian's in Brookfield. He is a pleasant, fast worker and we rarely had to wait for drink refills throughout the evening. Our glasses were never empty. He was hustling the entire evening and had many tables, and we were very pleased with our service from Mike.
We reserved our table a couple weeks ahead of time by calling and speaking with Natalie. She reserved us a table for 7 people. Was pleased to see that our table was ready for us early. The ambiance is good for a large party. There are a ton of TVs in this sports bar. The only gripe I had was that the volume could have maybe been up a tad more? It was very hard to hear the referees or the commentators during the game. Just a bit surprising for the "big game" and you couldn't hear the game or the commercials very well. Closed captioning on a few of the TVs would have been a little better but we did not want to complain.
They have the same menu as the Brookfield location, and I can say that the vegan menu is very impressive. I have had many items on the vegan menu, and for this Lombard visit I had the vegan buffalo chicken-wich. It was a good sized vegan-chicken patty smothered in a spicy buffalo sauce. I quite enjoyed it. My friends shared a giant Bavarian pretzel which looked very good, and came with three different sauces.
Sundays the Tito's Bloody Mary drinks are on special, so I ordered one. It came in a tall fancy glass with all the garnishes but hoooo weeee it is spiiiiiiccccy. I liked the taste of the mix they use, it was delicious and filling.
My friends shared the bacon croquettes and they said they were very good. My other friend had three sliders and said they were flavorful but filling (don't think she finished all of them).
It's a fun place to watch live sports... I don't know that I would choose this place for the Super Bowl again, but I would definitely come back when I am in the area to watch...
Read moreWe were here as a group, all senior managers and exec's. It was a 3-hour party with a steam of appetizers. The drinks were very watered down. I had 2 Long Island ice teas and didn't even feel a buzz. They failed test number 1. The drink came in a very big glass & is supposed to be almost all alcohol. Theirs was like actual ice tea. The only people feeling anything close to a buzz were the beer drinkers who knew what they got. Salad was nothing ut iceberg lettuce with tomato slices. Guacamole was very good and fresh, as were the chips. The sliders or hamburgers were gristly full of chunks of things to spit out. The pretzel buns were good. Only bacon we got was a bowl of fried bacon. Rather strange. There were bacon wrapped fried oreos & twinkies. They just tasted weird. The chicken wings were ok, but there were many left. Unusual for this group. The dedicated room was tight with screens everywhere. I do not ever want to go back here and couldn't wait to get out. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but how can you screw up a salad? Sliders require good quality beef, not gristly chunks. The last indignity was ordering a shot of Hennessey. My boss was laughing because there was barely a teaspoon, let alone a shot. He said the waitress must have not liked me. I hate to think of the money wasted there. Only plus was that our group enjoys spending time together, but it wont ever...
