Cassidy's Corner Cafe LBX — Restaurant in Long Beach

I love Cassidy’s. I really reallly dislike this location. Everytime I’ve gone the service is bad. The girls that work here (I haven’t been helped by a guy) have the worse attitude. Don’t look at you. Don’t greet. Each time the order is wrong. One of the times I went during this month , I was unaware that each Cassidy’s was different. I’ve never been asked what type of 4-2-1 coffee I wanted so when I was asked and I was confused you would think the girl at the register would tell me they’re different and there they offer it in two different ways(although I had already gone there before 4 times and had never been asked vanilla or hazelnut ). Instead when i said oh idk I’ve never been asked , she said well yeah so vanilla of hazelnut. I said is there a standard ? Or ? because I’ve never been asked. She said yeah so vanilla or hazelnut. I just said hazelnut which was not the right choice. I only found out about the differences between the places because I asked my favorite location in bixby. Cassidy's Corner Cafe is located inside the Long Beach Hangar (LBX) and the first place you'll see when you walk inside! The bagels here are INCREDIBLE--fluffy, thick, and I'm not kidding, better than anything l've found in NYC (and I just took a trip there!) Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are fantastic. There were tons of people ordering the pizza bagels so I was curious - and now ! totally get the hype. The standout for me though is their amazing garlic spread. It added such a rich, savory note to every sandwich. I could literally eat a plain bagel with just that spread on it and be thrilled! Cassidy's does drinks. Coffee was delicious, as was the fresh squeezed orange juice. You can totally tell when it's not from carton--this was so tasty! And I highly recommend getting the ice blended lemonade. It was so creamy and sweet, topped with whipped cream! I haven't had anything like that before. Also was super surprised to see they also serve Bloody Mary's. Super spicy and flavorful, I need to keep this in mind for brunch with friends next time...

This is without a doubt the worst bagel I've ever eaten in my entire life, and I've eaten bagels in prison. Yes that's a euphemism.

Bagel wasn't even baked completely, like biting into dough. This was the second one they gave me as well because the first also wasn't all the way baked.

I believe this atrocity was 5 dollars; literal robbery. It's like I came into Cassidys so they could make fun of me, call me a loser then take my money. It's borderline insulting.

They didn't even toast the bagel. What kind of monster eats raw bagels? Looks like they toasted the edges in some vain attempt at trickery.

Their cream cheese tastes like watery sadness and looks like melted whipped cream from a sad abandoned summer barbecue where Dad was attacked by a raccoon and the whole family had to leave to get rabies shots, though somehow even more depressing.
