Dutch's BrewHouse — Restaurant in Long Beach

I can't speak for the brews as I ate in once just for pizza. And then I did take-out a few months later. Here are the pizzas I've tried so far; (1) Dirty Bird - It's a work of art! The chicken, pineapple, red onions, cilantro, and avocado look so beautiful together I didn't even want to eat it but WOW. That explosion of flavor and the SPICY bite blew me away. (2) Nonna Pie - This is their most authentic Italian (as in the old country) pizza. The San Marzano tomatoes, oregano, garlic, and basil take me back to Livorno, Italy where I lived for a 2 years. Delizioso. (3) Big Daddy - It's basically tomatoes (very few pieces), fresh basil [All their ingredients are fresh], a few dollops of ricotta, and teeny tiny meatballs. It is so good but I wish they threw on more meat. (4) K-Town Zza - This is another beautiful, savory pizza that gives you a taste explosion. The carnitas, cheddar, pineapple, hoisin (Chinese sweet bean sauce), cilantro, pickled onions and KIMCHI - and topped with lime juice. What can I say but mouth-gasm?

WORD OF ADVICE: The pizza is a thin, New York style crust with quite a snappy bite. This is the way I love my pizza but if you want to have the most intense mouth-gasm, EAT IN and eat it hot. I let my take-out pizza sit for half an hour, and the crust got a tad hard. The microwave didn't do it justice but the pizza was still...

Have really liked this place since I first talked to the ownerca year ago and he was so honest he told me not to come in with my friends when I wanted to! Who does that? But he was right because he explained that the bar was full, the inside seating was full, the outside seating was full, so even I could tell if I couldn't get a seat, I couldn't get a beer, so this is tge place I want to be! I came another night with just 1 friend, and she was so happy she won't even eat a piece of pizza if it's not from Dutch's! And she will even pay for it! Is Rod Serling the Owner? So, needless to say, you're not going to get bad anything from Dutch's! And the salads, sides, and beers are great too. My fave is the Dragon's MILK WHEN THEY HAVE IT! AND THEY OWN THEIR OWN BREWERY TO TOP IT OFF! OH, I'M NOT GETTING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW! HAVE A GREAT...

This must be saved in your to-visit list immediately if you've never been to this fantastic place. Nice and casual vibe but do NOT be mistaken, the food here is no regular bar grub... The menu here is out of this world!! I'm talking, one of the best meals I've had out in a long time and I'm a very frequent restaurant goer.

The owner, Jason is very cool and personable and took time to chat with me and my boyfriend for a while which was very nice. He clearly takes great pride in his establishment and menu and he certainly should. He seems to be extremely diligent and puts a lot of time and care to ensure that everything served is top notch.

Can't wait to go back and try ALL of the pizzas because every single one sounds incredible.
