High Tide Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach

My sister and I stopped in for a late lunch at this new restaurant in Long Beach. We ordered the " Gringa Quesadilla" ( comes with pork, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. I ordered it with chicken instead of pork) and a Caesar Salad. The Quesadilla was really delicious with the grilled pineapple and chicken. It was hot and fresh and not greasy. Perfection!! The pineapple salsa had quite a kick to it (probably due to the added jabenero) but was quite tasty. Great Caesar Salad which was lightly dressed and topped with fresh croutons. They have a breakfast menu (served all day) along with a full lunch/dinner menu with Americana, Mexican, and seafood choices. Really a great dining experience!! A special shout out to our waiter, Daniel, who was very attentive and informative as to the many special dishes which are prepared at the High Tide Grill. What a "gem" of a new restaurant on the Long Beach Peninsula!! We wish them every success in their endeavor ( we believe they will be a "big hit" because the food is very delish!!). This place was amazing and I don’t say that often. I am a hard person to please when going out to eat, it’s rare that I love the food. But this food was delicious. Everything had really good flavor. Great taste. We ordered the Mexican food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good, flavorful and authentic food. As for the service, seriously this kid was amazing! So glad my family and I decided to stop in here for lunch!
