We booked a room at this particular location due to the fact that it mention that they had breakfast. First morning they're called the office to find out about breakfast they said that they didn't have it due to covid. I asked if they had pre-packaged breakfast like most other motels hotels that offer breakfast are now doing rather than the open all-you-can-eat type service. They told me no they were not doing that but yet Friday Saturday Sunday they had Donuts in the office for customer's along with fresh made coffee. But they couldn't get free packages breakfast cuz it's so vivid that they could sell frozen meals and other items from a fridge in their office. None of that makes any sense to me is a basically contradicts itself it's okay to give Donuts out on Friday Saturday Sunday but not pre-packaged breakfast on it any of the days of the week because it makes no sense. We booked the room there because it said they had breakfast there's no breakfast I'm sure the price of our room wasn't adjusted accordingly for not having breakfast so anyway we got ripped off. But yet after staying there for three nights the next Motel we got not many miles away had no problem serving us breakfast pre-packaged. Is it State on their website if they're not going to have breakfast if they don't have it that's the whole reason we stay there we could have went somewhere else a block away that more than likely had breakfast just adapted to what's going on in the world today didn't talk to text with this isn't make a lot of sense that's why but I was disappointed in the whole experience at this Motel pretty much ran out of toilet paper as a joke to get any more than one time couldn't get any more towels when you need to ask more than one time they said they leave met her door never did had to go hunt down toilet paper the ice machine worked for the first day and a half and then it was out of service due to covid-19 it working for the first day and a half made no sense they made up the rules as they went along from day-to-day...
Read moreMy daughter wanted to take my wife and I for a night out at the beach. She reserved us to stay at this hotel. The dark-haired girl working at the counter was completely rude, and did not care about service. We ignored that and continue on with our stay. The showerheads in the bathrooms were completely rusted out. The electrical was flickering, the whole time, and the person upstairs was having a freak out episode and stomping and slamming the windows all night long.. I called this hotels emergency phone number twice and had to leave voicemails. They still never got a hold of us. What kind of emergency phone number doesn’t help you. We did not sleep a wink that night when we left the next morning to check out, the same girl was at the counter she thought it was funny that we had gone through that experience. After returning home, I attempted to call this hotel and ask for some compensation for them not taking care of a problem, and not responding to an emergency phone number and spending the night sleepless. The same young girl basically said oh my God we don’t actually like do that kind of stuff and we like don’t give names out or anything and we don’t like give anybody money back or anything like that like like like like that’s all she was saying she was incompetent and rude and definitely give this hotel a horrible name . The only bright side to this day was a man named Todd, who worked at the front counter in the evening. He was kind and courteous and respectful, and the exact type of person you would want to deal with at a hotel kiosk thank you Todd, but we will never stay at this...
Read moreSo, we were extremely excited to stay here. We actually drove about 3 hours from Seattle to visit this location. We booked a room with 2 queens and a twin. We arrive after traveling hours and we got into the room to find a queen and a couch. The couch turns out to be a pull out rickety thin mattress. Not 2 queens and a twin like we paid for. I go to the hotel receptionist. She tells me that Expedia definitely was at fault here. They advertised it as the wrong room. I get it, things happen. I ask for another room. There aren’t any. I ask for a refund, she says I need to go through Expedia. At this point I’m exhausted, and I’m like alright. I will contact Expedia. I ask for extra pillows and blankets, because the only ones provided for the pull out mattress are rough couch decorative cushions. She hands me one pillow, a blanket or two, and maybe 10 pillow cases??? We make do for the night, annoyed and irritated.
I call Expedia and they run me around trying to say I’m wrong. I provide my itinerary and photo evidence of the room. They change their tune, then send it to the “hotel” (more like a sad motel). The hotel responds and says they aren’t refunding me because we stayed. Umm... you gave us no option.
We genuinely feel swindled and ripped off.
In addition to this, our view was of the dumpsters, where people frequently kept running out to go smoke/hide/who knows what else. The sea was actually about a mile away at least, and the TV stopped working at midnight.
Avoid at all costs, for the love...
