Perhaps I should preface with "I don't usually go to Jamba Juice" and by "usually", I mean that in the last 10 years I've been there twice, even though I frequent the neighboring Ralph's weekly.
I wanted an acai bowl, but it was Sunday evening and all of the usual spots were closed, so I decided to try Jamba Juice's Acai Primo bowl. The description sounded decent, although I couldn't tell the size from the picture. I ordered online via Google Maps, and the bowl was $8.99. So you know, the only reason there is a second star is because ordering online was pretty user friendly. Those empty stars up there are for the lacking size (as seen in the photo), the overpricing for said small size, and the fact that my order wasn't ready until 6 minutes AFTER the projected pickup time.
The app gave the store 10 minutes to prepare my order. I sat outside waiting for the order to update, saw two separate parties go in, stand in line, order, wait, and get their food, before I went in to check on my order (already 6 minutes after the pick up time), and what do you know, they were just then putting the toppings on MEANING, they do not prepare orders as they receive them, online orders are prepared when they have time.
The small size was frustrating because I paid 9 bucks to be ripped off. If you go to the smaller mom and pop shops for an acai bowl, they practically give you enough to split it and have a meal for later for almost the same price (literally speaking, like $2 more for more than double the volume). But i mean, should I be that surprised? I basically went in to a corporate joint and paid more to get less.
So alls I'm sayin' is that if you should happen to have a hankering for an acai bowl, and the only joint that's open is a Jamba Juice, do yourself a favor, and wait until...
Read moreI'm a regular there and the workers are really nice. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I bought a drink from the Jamba Juice in Bellflower and willow which tasted super gross. Definitely not the way it's supposed to taste. I took a few sips on my way home which is passing a second Jamba Juice, this one, by the traffic circle. Since I'm a regular there, I figured it wouldn't be a problem to ask them to fix my drink. I said "hey, I stopped at the other place after I got out of the gym and they made my drink but it's disgusting. Is there any possible way you can remake it for me?" She told me I'd need to go to the other Jamba juice and have them fix it. Why am I gonna drive all the way back to that one when this one is on my way home? And since they made it horrible, why would the next one taste better? The jamba juice I normally go to.makes my drink the way I want it and the only reason why I stopped at the other jamba juice was because it was right across from the gym and I was starving. So now, not only did I waste my money and time, I'm now still hungry because I'm not gonna drink the rest of that gross drink. I felt this was horrible customer service, especially for someone who goes to jamba juice daily.... I will most likely not go back to this jamba juice or the one on bellflower...
Read moreOn 1/12/20 I went in to this store and the cashier was having trouble processing the customer ahead of me, so I sat down to wait. A man with his son came walking in and walked in front of me as the cashier finished with the other customer. Then she proceeded to help the man without checking with me. Very poor customer service directed at me. I will not pay for poor service. The link for the form said the site can not be reached but thank you for the reply. 3/4/20. It happened again. I'm fighting cancer and the pain from it. As I'm waiting for the 2 customers ahead of me to decide I sit down and AGAIN someone cuts in front of me and the cashier doesn't even acknowledge me. Employees only care as much as the management or owner does so I figure the owner doesn't care. It's a lack of training . I think corporate needs to look into this site and its owner. They need better training than their getting. I walked...
