A little tucked away past the Long Beach traffic circle, this Lee's is a nice quick bite gem. It looks pretty small from the outside, but I was surprised to see they had a lot of space inside. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They made vegetarian spring rolls for me when they didn't have them prepacked in the front, and I thought that was pretty cool of them. Each Lee's is always subtlety different in how they make their sandwiches, but I think this location is doing it right. The bread is crispy and a little buttery any the ingredients are fresh. They also have a classic bar arcade cabinet if you're into retro video games. Great place to go get a quick bite.

I ordered the grilled sandwich and ice green Thai tea. The tea was delicious, not to sweet just right. As for sandwich, there was a tiny amount of chicken in the sandwich. Otherwise the sandwich was flavorful and fresh. The customer service was great. If you can’t eat spicy, make sure you tell them not to add it in the sandwich. Traditionally the sliced peppers are added for flavoring.

First time here, I ordered a BBQ sandwich and a iced coffee small, the iced coffee is strong and really good, the sandwich was fresh and taste good, customer service was great as well I didn't have to wait long for my order, I will be back to try other sandwiches and drinks.

As usual. Took half an hour for me to get a juice. Staff always overwhelmed. I don't eat sandwiches here. The bread Is way too hard. The meat quality is not good. Just for reference ..The price is not cheap for what you get...I always go back to oc to get my banh mi. Beside that I don't like it that cashier would be touching my food after handling money. I only come here to get sugar cane juice even though they don't put a squeeze of kumquat juice in it. All in all...don't come unless u have no choice. And operating hours are very unconvenient for ppl who work early. Oh yes ..my mom used to bakes baguettes and the meat for these sandwiches from scratch so i know what it's supposed to be like and lee's meat products is not what...

I'd always wanted to try banh mi, but I'd never had the opportunity. I didn't even know this place existed, until just now, when I happened to be next door, and was curious what they sold. What they sell: fast, tasty, -ridiculously- cheap Vietnamese sandwiches. 3 dollars for a sandwich that'll probably fill you up even if you're decently hungry? Crazy. Look pretty authentic, too - they had all kinds of meat for sandwiches that I'd never buy. Of course, I don't ask what's in the meatball; meatballs are meatballs, and they're tasty. Their bread makes Subway bread look like garbage, and they have pretty good (though not quite as hilariously underpriced) smoothie-type sugary...
