Service was slow waiter was not very attentive was not offered water ordered a Mac n cheeseburger for the person I was with 18$ no sides included and a classic for myself 12$ with poutine fries 9) along with a mojito 12-14$ and a Santa Monica blonde ale 9$ After a 20 minute wait while the other 4 tables that were there had already had there food when we arrived I received a completely raw pink from top to bottom burger I could not eat I set it aside to wait for the waitress to return after she looks over more then 4 times around the 5th or 6th she finally walks over and asks how everything is 15 minutes after the uncooked food had arrived also upon delivering the 2 burgers we were given 1 knapkin each !!!! For a Mac n cheeseburger lol what no condiments offered now the poutine fries were okay they do not use standard bacon which they should mark as well they don’t use proper poutine gravy they use morning Sausage and biscuit gravy haha the fries were over cooked but edible my total after the uncooked burger removed was 57 dollars !!!!!! Read moreUnderstaffed on a Fri night, slow service that does not come by often to refill water or even fill all glasses. Wait was about 40 minutes for food after placing order. One diner was told her order was unavailable after everyone else was just served their meals. Very inopportune time to be providing that news. The substitution meal (soup) was not even close to being brought out in time before everyone else was finished, so we canceled it. Cutlery was brought for the meal that was unavailable. No napkins were provided to all 6 diners. Asked for extra napkins and was only brought two. Soup was lukewarm for other diner. Another diner was initially charged extra for adding items to the grilled cheese that didn't have prices next to them on the menu ($1.50 EACH for tomatoes, jalapeno and grilled onions.) Read moreWe found the Tap House as we strolled 2nd St with some friends and decided to give them a try ... really glad we did! We started with fried pickles (when I saw them arrive with a tempura batter rather than cornmeal I was skeptical, but they were really good!) and an order of Monster Fries (topped with grilled onions, melted cheese, and a yummy sauce). The guys had a Mac & Cheese burger and a California Love burger ... both were a hit. The girls had the grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough (the name escapes me), and we both enjoyed it. The sandwiches were large enough that we (the girls) each took home half for lunch tomorrow. The Irish mules were also nicely made. Jacob took great care of us as well. No complaints here ... we look forward to...
