Mini Monster Cafe — Restaurant in Long Beach

Absolutely amazing experience getting our boba and drinks here. The people working there are so customer-service oriented and so very nice! There was such a beautiful assortment of little knick-knacks and gifts for sale while you wait for your drinks. The menu had so many different items to order from ranging from Espressos to Milk Teas to Matcha drinks. It was very cool that they had Cotton Candy and even Ice Cream Macaroons. Their drinks have great tea flavor, their dessert items were spot on, and their boba pearls are delicious. Especially loved that they made my girlfriend feel so incredibly special for her birthday. The Thai Tea that we ordered was delicious and very flavorful. We also got a Sunrise Passion Fruit Tea, which we ordered in a big take home glass jar that was definitely a very cute collectible mug for our house. We even got a cookie. But it wasn’t just any regular cookie. The cookie had an Oreo baked into the middle of the cookie. It was deliciously decadent. We've been to other Snow Monsters before but this was my first time at the Long Beach location. We were so happy with our experience and will definitely be back again soon! i used to come here very, very often. They had a great selection of drinks, macarons, oreo stuffed cookies, shaved snow, etc. However, it seems that the owners have taken off so many things off the menu and it is like purely drinks and macron ice cream sandwiches now. Maybe it's because the other things cost more to have then what thy were making off of them (business decision). I don't know but still kinda slowly turning into a boba house with ice cream sandwiches. Anyway, I still come but not as often, Like i said, if it's boba, I can get that anywhere else. Unfortunately I wouldn't make a drive just for their macaron ice cream sandwiches. Nonetheless I do still come and they have a nice atmosphere in there. I would totally rate it 5 stars back in the day, nowadays I'll have to say 3. The staff is friendly. No complaints there and they keep the place pretty clean. The Prices are OK. It's average what it would typically cost anywhere else. The drinks are good. They have variety of drinks to choose from. Would I continue to come? I really enjoyed my first experience at the Snow Monster in Koreatown so I decided to check this one out. It did not disappoint. The location is on a busy street of Long Beach. There is lots of shops and restaurants in the area. This is the perfect place for dessert on a hot day.

Parking is located on the street. The place is clean and there's two stories. The upper level is more cozy and better for bigger groups. There is no elevator to reach the 2nd floor only one set of stairs. The water dispenser is downstairs. It would've been nice if there was a second dispenser upstairs because the cups are small. The staff was friendly and quick to take your order.

My favorite item to order are the ice cream macarons. There are different flavored macarons and a variety of ice cream. The fun part is coming up with what ice cream macaron flavor you're going to enjoy. I ordered the toffee crunch macaron with chocolate ice cream. It was delicious and as always the macaron was huge.
