SoCal Wings — Restaurant in Long Beach

I enjoy going to this restaurant it has always been kept very clean the service had been very prompt however some of the food is just a wee Bit Too Spicy but other than that the flavoring is very well once you get past some of the spiciness as an overall the people who work there have been very pleasant, very nice and they tried to understand your orders very diligently, and make the order exactly the way you explain it to them; I like going there it has quality as far as workmanship, customer service and overall flavor is very well lit. I like the window structure a lot of light and I've gone there during the evening times as well the lights that is inside of the business itself a very bright you don't have to wonder what the food look like or how it's going to taste laugh out loud. So ask for me I'm pleased with it I remember when that business used to be a flower shop and it was very well lit then and since this business of SoCal wings have taken over they did an excellent job with the place I invite and tell everybody you should check them out their food is very tasty especially their Gumbo they have other specialties too but I know they're Gumbo and their Banana pudding with the bananas in it alone with their fries chicken things of that nature are very good and the people are very pleasant I thank them for being in the community. Mediocre... I was really excited to give this place a try for the first time, I came on a Wednsday for their wing special. Upon ordering I was told that was unexisting, its ok, i decided to do my research a day before on their wing flavors, when ordering, 3 flavors from their menu's I was told no longer are made. I had already made the long drive from Palos Verdes, so decided to order anyways. My experience. Wings were very sweet in sugar (I ordered the hot mango flavor and asian hot flavor). The size of the wings were very tiny, and the cost of $25 for a 15 piece order ($1.66 per wing). Honestly I feel anyone can make this wing flavors and taste at home in their own effort, and for the cost (more expensive than Wingstoo @ Bww), excitement, and location, it was not worth the visit. Also the wings were 1 wing short (14 wings in total). I really wanted this place to win me over, but would definetly not try them out again unfortunitly. If i can give the store owner any advice, id say update your menu and your specials, and train you employees to show more excitement and charisma to not only new customers, but also repeat and...

I had ordered my usual.. mango habanero wings with jalapeño peppers and a boba and I had this for dinner. The next day during the middle of my shift I start feeling weird.. my stomach is hurting, I have chills, and my body is shaking. I let my boss know in the case I get worse and have to go home. I had taken some pepto which kind of helped(enough to finish my shift and go home) for a bit but eventually the feeling came back and worse. I had to use my coworkers sweater to put over my legs because I felt so cold even though it was a warm day. I was throwing up at work and had diarrhea. By the time I got home I couldn’t take it anymore. My body was weak, I felt like I had a fever but had really bad chills. I literally felt like I was gunna die… my husband ordered me a chicken noodle soup with a pedialyte and after eating and taking a nap.. I felt much better. We called socal wings in Long Beach to let them know that their food affected me.. but the person on the phone didn’t care.. they basically said sorry that happened and that was it. So be careful...
