I've fine dined a bit in my day and generally eat organic but not strictly. So maybe im being pretentious but, I dislike Poly because I feel mislead by the reviews.
I consider the location to be run down. The decor lacking, dated and barely sanitary. Its really cramped inside and the service is nothing special.
The food quality is the biggest pitfall. I ordered the chili cheese burger and it was so far below the quality implied in previous reviews that I became angry at first bite.
Bread was very cheap. Meat seemed like some sort of imitation of beef and the Chili was 2 steps above flavorless if not watered down. Very poor quality food.
The ratings must be based on popularity and the local high school. The area has poor food options so I guess it kinda makes sense.
Will not return. Do...
Read moreI’ve been eating at poly burger since I was a 6-7 ever since I’ve gotten food poisoning a handful of times. I’ve always brushed it off as maybe it was a mistake. Now that I’m older i realized it’s for hygiene purposes. Last week I’ve gotten a usual chicken teriyaki plate. When I finished my meal I started to feel nauseous worse than food poisoning and pain from my stomach I’ve never experienced before. I had contracted a stomach virus/bug. If you wish to order food at this place please know that you always run the risk of getting very sick. I’ve been inside the place it’s horrible there’s mold growing in every corner. Trash and sometimes mysterious liquids on the floor, I could just imagine how the kitchen is. They need to shut the place for a month and deep...

Stumbled across this non-assuming corner burger joint that definitely feels like a remnant from the 50s.
Missed breakfast but apparently they have an awesome breakfast burrito. Their teriyaki chicken is also apparently fire so I’ll need to come back to try both of these.
I got their burger combo that was true nostalgia. The fries feel home cut and that seasoning salt at the cashier stand kicks it up a few notches. Burger was classic no frills but hit the spot, better than most overcharged restaurants and a nice change from the overdone smash burger craze. The meal was pretty affordable too.
Plenty of parking and friendly customer service as well. Will...
