Mc Carthy's Pub — Restaurant in Longmont

I don't think we will be coming back. Maybe you should care about customers, This place will eventually be close and soon and here's the reason why, as a local guide, please do not come here. So many negative reviews might as well as add mine. And of all things, I got sexual harassed here tonight by a regular who was a birthday Man, I don't care if it's your birthday don't touch me. The Bartender, was rude, and as a Bartender of over 20 years, I have never seen, such behavior, while serving, and not mixing, like a Bartender should have. Meanwhile she was more interested serving anyone else but me and my husband. As I have been in customer service for over a decade, this is how a place go's under and quickly, all sand, no ground. I'm half Irish, My ancestors like, the "Unsinkable" Molly Brown, would be rolling in her grave. As while as my full mother's side, of the Twohigs, Duugans, and the Hardgroves, which were founding members and The first Police of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who came from Cork, Ireland. So if anything be aware, this is the worst place, all time, of all the other reviews this place rates the worst. Just do yourself a favor...

I went to McCarthy's pub after work with my mother who is 56. The woman at the bar requested both of our I.D.s. My mom asks really you want mine? The lady said yes my mother complied and went to the car to get her ID. The woman looked at me and told me that she had to ID everyone. I work in a restaurant so I said that the rule was you ID people who looks 35 or under. She says no its at my discretion. I said yes but the rule isn't that you ID everyone. She huffed and puffed and told me that she wouldn't serve me and not to argue with her. I am a paying customer. I wonder how the owner would feel if she turned away money for no good reason. Especially when I was ordering top shelf liquor. This was a waitress on a power trip and should not be treating customers badly because she's having a bad day. I will never return to...

Got 86'd for sharing my opinion of this bar publically on Facebook. The owners clearly don't believe in free speech, nor do they care to use feedback for it's intended purpose, which is creating a better environment for the patrons that pay their bills. I'm definitely curious to know if they ever fixed the women's restroom after weeks of neglect.

While I do miss having the ability to meet up with old friends here, I'm far better off without this place in my life, and you would be too. The cheap drinks and karaoke nights aren't worth the inevitable decline your life will experience getting involved with some of the regulars.

Edit: I've tried on a few occasions to speak with the owners, and if they would buck up and act like adults and have a conversation with me, we could resolve all this, but they clearly don't...
